Pepsi Convoy neck mod?

Ran a search, got nothing.

How do you do the neck mod on Pepsi Convoy/Prime? I read that you just unscrew his head and shave down a peg, but I tried to unscrew mine only to find there was no screw.

Any ideas? Is the screw just really tiny or did Takara just glue it in place?

Thanks.

Since I like to dismantle things, but don't have a Pepsi Prime... Send me one and I'll find out.

I made a mention earlier when I saw you ask a similar question... The Pepsi Prime I won from the Mountain Dew promotion had a screwed-on head... I'm (slowly) working on a Prime repaint that I'm using one of the Pepsi Primes as a base for... (Which explains the stripped paint)....

Pull up the rubsign on top of the semi cab & there'll be the screw!

See it down there?

And here's the 'peg' that needs to be cut...

When putting the screw back in, don't tighten it down all the way and you should be able to turn Prime's head!

PS- Sorry about the crappy pictures, and I don't mean to come off as a smart-ass or anything in my post, I've got a pounding headache and am trying to be helpful! Hope this helps!

It does.

Now I know for sure there's no screw, which means it's glued on. I thought it might be in the screw hole just really tiny.

Guess he'll just have to use his peripheral vision from now on. Which sucks 'cuz mine has a lazy eye. (Read: half painted so he looks like he's half winking)

This is almost as bad as the way they replaced a lot of screws with pins on reissue Megatron.
