I kinda agree with you but grimlock is to awsome I rather have jazz than Hotrod or Rodimus or what ever Hasbro calls him now a days

Jazz is definitely my favorite G1 Character. I can't wait to see the finished product.

My 2 cents
Real Gear Long View has a Jazz similar head with minor modification. Already has a visor. Head is a bit smaller than Grimlock or Bumblebee but it would look nice.
If you look at pictures on the net of long view you won't see enough details to see his face. However I bought it at wal mart yesterday and the first thing I noticed when I transformed him was his face. I instantly saw Jazz .
I myself aim all my kitbashes on continuing the classics line.
oh and BTW, I love what you did to this guy.

Thank you.

I like my Grimlock head with a nose and chrome blue visor.

But, thank you!! I'm hoping with enough projects, hopefully I can reach your level of expertise. That Dev. in your avatar is sick.

Since I don't want to start putting him together until it's been two weeks (even though Fusion only says 7 days), I thought I'd make some little teaser photos.

Glued the headlights in:

(didn't need to worry about paint scratching for that)

And, since it's been over two weeks since i did the black parts, here's more of the skeleton:

Enjoy!!

Believe me, I want more, but I'm scared if I get too impatient, I'll end up needing to touch up parts here and there, and I don't want that. Defeats the purpose of taking it apart to paint it, if the paint wears off in the joints.

Still waiting for the overcoat on the taillights to dry. I don't want to hammer that super-long pin back in, and risk screwing up any of the stickers...
