Unfortunately, I just ordered the G1 set. It'll probably be too small, but it's too late now, since I already paid for it. Live and learn...

Thanks for all the kind words guys. It's really helping me get confident about doing it...UPDATE: Bumblebee & Grimlock are in my bedroom, ready to be dismantled!!

Ok. The only one that came to mind was the Alternator set, and that would be too big. If I do it, I'll probably paint the stripes on myself. I'm not sure about the head. I don't know if it'll be worth it to buy a Grimlock just for the head. That and I'm not sure I'll be able to mod it correctly to fit onto BB's body.

wow, you may be a kitbashing virgin, but I'm a digibashing virgin. I wish I knew how to do what you did in your first post.

Thanks again, guys. Alt. mode has been added to the first post. It doesn't look as good, because of the angle of the car in the photo, I couldn't just copy & paste certain details, and I'd rather spend time actually making the damn thing (and working on Plowking's commission) than pretending I'm making it in Photoshop.
