so far I haven't had any problems with Arcee or Brainstorm..but I do agree on Windblade's tabs (not to mention her heel spurs). Hasbro needs to work on their QC issues.

Well, they sometimes do and I think that's Owen's point in wanting to wait. :p

Nothing better then spending someone elses money. Except spending it and keeping the fruits of it.

I'd be interested in Avengers. I just hope I remember to keep checking this thread. I said early last month I was going to try and pay more attention to it, and then didn't come to it for 3 weeks.

I've only seen the first episode (forgot to set it to record and only got that one on demand), but so far so good. I find Strong Arm annoying personally. She is worse than Prime Magnus.

This is a "sequel" to Prime right? and that was loosely a "sequel" to the WFC/FOC games wasn't it? If so I just can't see FOC Grimlock becoming Rid Grimlock in any way.

Same here, my Arcee and Brainstorm are great. Windblade is one of the worst figures (quality wise) I've ever bought.

Dan, since you have the Original Star Saber, Would you mind posting some Photos of MP Star Saber along side him? I also read that Victory Leo's Boots can attach to him. have you tried this?

This is of course assuming you have MP Star Saber?

Sorry for the questions, it's just after seeing the original Star Saber and Victory Leo that one time you brought them for show and tell, I'm dying to see the two together along with the new MP Star Saber.

Anyway, since MP SS sold so well in Japan we can assume they are going to be making an MP VL to go alongside him.

I saw a review for MP SS, and while VL's boots can go on, they do not attach at all. Just hanging very loosely.

After the massive amount of positive feedback, I wouldn't be surprised if MP VL was announced later this year.

Sorry for the delay. It seems lately that my weekends have been busier my weekdays :/ Yeah, ya know I will try to do that tonight Gauge and take some pictures. I also heard the same thing about VL's feet, but yeah, I doubt they really attach solidly.

Personally, I have to believe that Victory Leo was a consideration from the 'get-go' when they announced Star Saber. In fact, I imagine that SS was designed with the intent of combining him eventually. I mean.....WHY NOT?

If you are a fan of G1 toys, especially Japanese G1 toys, then I must absolutely recommend that you do everything in your power to get SS. While I will not hold my breath, I am really hoping that the success of SS will trigger other Japanese G1 exclusive MP releases :2c:

I know a lot of folks don't like Cyclona-tronus, but you have to admit that that might be the best retool ever for a figure. I actually forgot who he was a retool of when I looked at the pics, and when I finally realized it was Silverbolt, I still have a hard time making the connection between the 2.

Looking forward to the meet up Sunday. Hope to see as many of you there as can go.

I believe I read that Yuki said he was designing VL with SS in case he got the green light. Based on what I've read of his reception, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he got that now.

Now that we have better shots of him, my feelings have changed. Silverbolt is a fun figure. While Galvaclonus can never replace my CHUG Cyclonus, I know he'll at least be a fun figure to fiddle with. I'll probably take the Galvatron head off completely and use it for something else. Someone else pointed out that the Galvatronus head and body could pass for Overlord with the right modifications, too...

On a related note, Lionel and I found a full wave of AoU Legends figures last night. We picked up Batroc, Hellcat, and Hulk. Hulk had some serious breakages in the U gap at the top of the lower leg, so he'll be returned tonight. Hellcat has some poor paint apps, especially the yellow bits at the top of her boots, which are obviously thin yellow paint over black. Plus she's got floppy joints. Batroc is the strongest figure of the three, though he's got that kind of ugly sparkly gold plastic in parts that doesn't match his other paint.

I just keep telling myself that all will be fine if the Thanos figure doesn't suck...

Interestingly, the Allfather build-a-figure has a different cape, head, and weapon with two of the figures. Thanos has the same head with the two figures that come with those pieces as far as I can tell. (Also, not sure if a coincidence or not, but in both waves, the figures that came with the head pieces were the two women for each wave.)

Star Saber comparison pics incoming today...

Amazing what you can do with ONLY a cell phone these days. Took pics, uploaded, and pasted links all from phone :D  I'm sure most of you already do that, lol.

I didnt have time to get Victory Leo last night but i will try tonight and post them tomorrow.

Yeah, the Hasbro Marvel Legends figures seem to have the same floppy limb syndrome that the old Toy Biz Marvel figures had. I chalk it up to the overly articulated limbs that both series have- which is a blessing and a curse. Not every figure seems to suffer from this fortunately even though they all have roughly the same articulation, but it does seem to plague many of them.

Glad you got the whole wave at once though, Owen! Always nice when that happens. Expensive, but at least it's one and done.

    Love that figure!

Oh we only got the three for now, but the ones that should be more difficult to find. And some of the Legends figures have held up really well. Lionel's other Hulks, for instance. Even toothpick Gamorra has no looseness to her. Hellcat is new out of the box and floppy.

Seriously awesome photos. One take-away I have is Masterpiece SS is very pointy. Hard to tell which figure I'd prefer though!
