I'd love to see them come up with an arm cannon that mirrors G1 Galvatron's cannon..that would be very cool.

As far as a fembot combiner..that alone is interesting, but also having to take into consideration that the poll also listed the Sea of Rust as the place of origin, so I'm thinking that these figures may be Seacon-type characters of some type.

Gonna back up Owen here. Based on the pics of Galvatronus his limbs appear to be a mish-mash of both faction figures with nothing special attributed specifically to him. That said, it could be we'll get something more specific for both Optimus and Galvatronus down the road, but for now it appears he's simply a one-off Voyager meant to look cool. Which he does.

I'm totally all for an all female combiner team. I just hope they at least get new head sculpts as obligatory repaints only is going to be shitty. At least as I have it pictured in my mind's eye.

I like what Play With This Too is trying to do, but I feel the same....I just don't know if it is something I am that interested in. Part of me wants to contribute, just out of principle.

I feel pretty much the same way. I went ahead and threw a $55 pledge in for shits and giggles.

I think most of the Toy Fair offerings are pretty solid. I have some issues with Devastator but overall I'm into it. Great value for 150 bucks. Cyclonus is so dumb but I'm into it.

I like the talent involved and some of the figures looks pretty cool, I'll buy two at most.

Did you ever get all of your 4H Ravens?

If any of you guys see Brainstorm at any discount chains (Ross, DD's Discount, etc.), hit me up because I'd like one below retail.

I'm kind of pissed that Brainstorm is at discount chains. It means we'll never see him at regular retail (and likely never at the discount stores either). Then again, I'm guessing they made him in decently large quantities, so maybe these stores will get all of the stock?

My feeling is that Hasbro is making 'X' number of Generations figures and they will get these to us some way or another, regardless of what the retailers agree to purchase. I'll use the Waspinator/Skids wave as an example. They have shown genuine interest in getting these to the fans. I've been wrong before, and there are always a few "end-of-the-line" figures that just get cut short, but for the most part, we end up getting 98% of the figures they promise us, especially Generations :2c:

I think the last wave of Generations fell to wayside due to the movie and Combiner Wars revving up. No biggie but just an observation.

    what else is coming?

I know that Devastator, Cyclonus, and Defensor/Protectobots are coming, but what will be coming down the pike AFTER those bots?

What's this I read on TFW about characters being from 'different creeds' and 'different religions'?

On an unrelated note, we'll also be seeing more Transformers of more body types - not only female characters but more diversity in general, more religions, creeds and classes.

(this was copied from the article posted on TFW)

Well, yes, but I think they will all be back and get released somehow at some point. Probably not very quickly, but I think it will happen.

Probably Bruticus, and hopefully Computron, Piranacon, Abominus, Predaking, and Monstructor. Am I too hopeful? :D

Yeah, I think I heard that too Matt. I don't know the details, but it will be interesting to see how it all works out :2c:

I ordered Brainstorm, Chromia and Arcee from BBTS. Not taking a chance on retail with these at this point, and avoiding eBay prices. Also ordered Silverbolt and Motormaster because hey, why not? The limbs seem to be coming out in greater numbers than the voyagers from what I've seen so far.

This ---^ Brainstorm was no Springer, meaning he was definitely highly requested and retail shelves could have benefited from his appearance (unlike Springer who was making shelves bow from the plentiful supply). But alas end of line syndrome appears to have been his demise at regular retail.

If you look at what's already out you can began the extrapolation process from those molds as to what will make a remold/recolor. For instance; Computron is all but confirmed, both by looking at the 'light bike' format of Groove as Afterburner and I've seen Photoshop renders of Strafe made from the Silverbolt mold, so it's logical to assume he's coming. Bruticus is certain as well as renders exist of both Vortex (from Blades/Alpha Bravo) and Onslaught (from Hot Spot). In other words, expect lots of more 'standard' remolds using characters with obvious interchangeability.

More odd and certainly one off gestalts like Abominus and Piranacon- and even to a lesser degree Predaking- are much less assured. Unless you can see a way to get very distinct beast molds to fit other gestalts. I'm not putting it past Hasbro to turn a Tantrum into a Hun-grr (for instance), but these seem a lot less likely. We all know Hasbro loves their remolds, so again if you can't picture a future use for a specific mold (beyond an obscure Japanese recolor/variant) then it's probably (I repeat probably) not going to happen. As Doc Prime is fond of saying... :2c:

My personal opinion is that any of this (different creeds, religions, etc.) is all set dressing and for the look/feel/vibe of an action figure won't mean much. Just as you can take Windblade on her face as a stand alone toy with no need to research her back story in the comics, I'd imagine these new characters will be much the same.

Why not indeed! I love this mold and even though it would have been nice to incorporate some kind of trailer with Motormaster (seems naked without one) it's forgivable when the figure is this good.

Yes indeed I did. The delays were annoying but the end result was pretty fantastic!
