Love-Love-Love-Loooooovvvveeee.... this Skylynx! The only thing that could have made it better is if the top/bottom separated into two separate figures like the G1, but the rather inspired option of making Lynx the Combiner head sort of make up for it. I'm sure we'll be seeing fan modes where you're able to achieve a more G1 looking Lynx by simply turning the figure around, folding a few parts, etc., but I'll not hold my breath.

I hope so! But if not I'm more than happy with Chigurh. It's rare when 3rd party drops the mic on a particular figure and although Chigurh is hardly that, he's damn nice and he's a more than worthy stand-in for Astrotrain in the mean time.

Thanks Matt! It's been a blast and it will suck to leave the crew behind.

I find it neat that Hasbro is showing CG Renders now. I don't recall them ever showing CGI images for toy previews before.

    It's obviously Blast-Off.

There's no train anything to say it otherwise

But, on the side profile it looks like some sort of Tread pattern on the legs.

Sorry guys that I haven't been a very big participant in the thread lately. Life has been evolving for me lately, in a positive way, and in addition to the little guy at home, work has been getting busier and busier by the month.

Sorry to hear you are moving Neil, but it sounds like this may also be a positive thing for you and your family. We are always changing and evolving :)  I wish you the best of luck.

In the meantime, I will do what I can to take things over temporarily until we can figure out a more stable solution.

Now for more of the fun stuff....really liked what I am seeing from Hasbro at Botcon. I really love the direction that they are taking CWs and how can you not like Sky Lynx :D  Is it true what I am hearing???? Will Takara Devastator Constructicons have elbows??? Am I dreaming?

Just a quick reminder to those who may have assumed the 7/5 meetup is still on for this weekend- it's been moved! It was discussed during the last meetup that a move to 7/12 would be better due to 4th of July weekend. Please plan on getting together next Sunday, 7/12, at Brandon's office rather than 7/5. Apologies for the late notification and any inconvenience.

Thanks dude! We have a great place picked out and hope to get it locked in soon, so I appreciate the well wishes.

Thanks, Dan! And there is no need to take back the day to day of this thread at the moment. I can still handle it for now. :D

After a quick jaunt to the 51st St/Ray Rd. TRU on lunch today I am one CW Devastator richer! Boy howdy... I can't wait to open this beast. Get yourselves one when you get a chance.

Actually I won't because I will be getting back from San Diego Comic-Con that evening. I hope everyone has a great time!

I'll be at the meetup on this Sunday.

I am also getting rid of quite a few figures, primarily for space reasons. As such, I have a list of what I have up for grabs here:

    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SBuXT64j93s1cXWnrlUCfDFvUkQHyTb18qSBb8wtaYs/edit?usp=sharing

The prices are very negotiable (what is listed is just a baseline). I'm ready to heavily discount most of the retail stuff. My main goal isn't money (unless the figure has significant value), so feel free to PM me with offers if you see anything you like. I can bring anything as well if you want hands-on time.

    today's meetup

Great meetup..as always. Thanks again for the Classics Overkill, Andrew. Awesome figure. I definitely want those Toyworld Dinobots, but didn't realize just how big Sever was. I MIGHT also get Devastator once the 3rd Party add-ons come out..depending on what else Hasbro throws our way.
