    That's interesting news. About 5 hours from my house down I-94! Just about as far as the Canadian TFcon for me, but I don't have to cross an international border, just the state line from MI to IL.

    I hope it carries the same exclusives as the Canadian TFcon 2014.

    Next year put it in Detroit though guys. Then I have a half hour drive.

    YES. I have been waiting for a TF convention to come to Chicago for a while, can't wait!

    3 1/2 - 4 hr drive from here, provided I can get off from whatever job I find in the coming weeks, I'm going to try my damnedest to be there!

    This is in my back yard for sure. 1 1/2 away. I've frequented both Acen,wizard world (both in the same place as botcon usa) and C2e2. But this is a con thats catering to my main hobby and will be my first transformers convention. I am beyond excited for this.

    this is the best news ever....I really wanted to to tfcon this year but it is looking like that is not a possibility, but DAMN THIS IS THE BEST NEWS EVER :D

    Finally, a formidable competitor to Botcon that is located in the USA! No offense to the little cons, but this has the potential to blow the lid off of transforming robot conventions in this country! I wouldn't shed a tear if it meant the death of Botcon (which it won't, of course). No stupid Hasbro restrictions, no lame FunPub exclusives, no California monopoly on the convention location. This is great! I said a few years back that Hasbro needed to consider a Botcon East and a Botcon West, and it looks like they missed the window of opportunity.

    Perfect time of year for me. My kids have softball and baseball in June. Kind of always made botcon a pain in the ass. Accept 12 was in April which was nice. This being only 6 hours away is great. And imo I hope Funpub shrivels up and dies.

    I'm sick of Botcon being on the West Coast when I live on the East Coast. I'm attending TFCon in 2014 and boycotting Botcon. Hope to meet other TFW members there.

    Toronto is still the closest one to me (3 hrs) but I'll try to get to the Chicago one as well.

    Awesome! My birthday is the 25th and I live in St. Louis which is only a 5 hour drive. Done and done. I wish Botcon would consider doing something a little closer to the midwest. Oh well.
