DairyCon 2012 was my first time going and I had a great time, so I will be submitting my time off request immediately!

I brought my girlfriend with last time as well. Even though I was worried that any hand holding (or enforced moderation) was going to prevent me from reaching for my wallet whenever it was "go time"... To my astonishment, I found that MOST every time she noticed a SPARKLE OF DROOL at the corner of my mouth over whichever bot or beast-bot happened to entice me, she would ask if I wanted to get it! Hell, she would even pre-emptively ask the vendor "how much" and then haggle at times!

...Now I say MOST because I don't believe that any amount of me salivating, bribing, or even promised illicit sexual favors (mwa-ha-ha-ha) would have allowed me to bring home the 2006 Botcon boxset with the $1000 pricetag. Not that I'm complaining you see. We genuinely had a great time, and she even helped me search for BW Silverbolt's missing wing missiles... We each found one! So, ladyparts aside, I am absolutely bringing my wing"man" with me to DairyCon 2013!

Here's hoping this is early enough to deter a Botcon overlap like last year....

I don't think you guys will have to worry this year. With the GIJoe movie in the spring the JoeCon will most likely be back in the spring as well leaving an anticipated June-ish date for BotCon.

Once again, I am happy to have seen that we were Front-paged at TFW2005! I'm always happy to be able to see the word about the show be able to reach as many people as it can!

I'm well aware that there's more information to come, and once I've received it; I'll be sure to pass the information along to all! :)

I'm pretty sure that information isn't available yet. This *was* the first announcement of the date after all!

It'd definitely be great to have them, as well as any & all of the other retailers (even those of us who want to split a table with a buddy & sell our own stuff!).

In either case, it would be *they* who announce if they're going or not. I know we do not make it a habit to release the names of the dealers who attend the shows, out of courtesy to them. (I know that their participation is appreciated, as much as anyone else who wants to rent some table space at the show! -We don't want anyone to 'get in trouble' with either the official show or Hasbro because they decided to come to our unofficial, fan-run convention!) ;)
