What about that Hooters in Manassas?  

 

I am open for Fridays or Saturdays. I am ok with wichever location folks agree on. I have to admit I do like Hooters. We are talkin about the bar, right?... 

 

I like Hooters and I'm not talkin' about the bar! Er, I mean the 80's band - yeah, that's the ticket!

Anyhow, are we talking about this weekend or next?

Hard Times works for me, as ManAsses is a little further out. If Hooters is to be considered though, there is one in Chantilly (off 28) and one in Fairfax (near Red Lobster), cuz staring at hooters is never a bad thing, especially amongst Transformers discussions  

 

Was there a date set for the next meet up? This coming Sunday right? I'll change the title of the thread to reflect that if that's the case.

I'm still unsure if I can make it to this one as I'll just have returned from a long trip. Got a lot to do at home and hopefully I can get it all done by Saturday.

 

So... did a meetup ever end up happening? If not, should we put stuff in motion?

This weekend and the following are no good for me due to holiday plans (and I'd imagine other people have similar conflicts), but maybe the following one? Weekend of the 23rd?

Any options for the place and time?

 

I'd vote for early evening, as I have to work at 7am sundays. So if we start at 6ish that'd be ideal for me. Fairfax seems to be fairly central (except for the few people from Woodbridge) so I'd offer that as a good starting point.

 

All I need is a date and time.

 

Early evening works for me as well. Maybe even an early dinner to go with that.

Side note, the guys up in DC/MD are planning a get together as well around the same time. There might be some interest to meet up with us if the location is right but I'm thinking some of the guys closer to B'more most likely won't make it all the way down.

 

From the MD group: We in the past met at Rockville. Not sure how that works for you guys but most of us are willing to give a good driving distance as long as good number of folks show up. Last time we met at Elevator Burger near Rockville with around 8-10 folks showing up. Feel free to post in the MD group to throw some ideas out. And bring stuff to sell if you got it. Better than losing to ebay/paypal fees with the shipping chores.

OK, I'm in too. That place is pretty big, I'll plan on being there first again to snag an appropriately sized table and bring in a TF to have on the table with me so anyone who wasn't there last time will have an easy time finding us.

Sorry I'm going to have to miss the meet up again but the wife and I are going on a short trip to Turks & Caicos and I don't think we'll get back in time on Sunday.
