    You sell yourself short, bud. I had a GREAT time hanging out with you quite a spell back. Several of you guys have welcomed me into your home, and I'm very thankful to you for that courtesy :) 

    Speaking of thanks, gotta give CP? some props for hosting a meet at his place last night. I REALLY wanted to go. Hopefully, I can have a raincheck!

    Also, for those of you who met up last night in Charlotte, I hope you guys had fun as well.

    If either groups shot any photos, by all means post them here and in the NC Group!

    I remember Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors! I watched that show back in '85, on WHKY 14 in Hickory at 5:30pm IIRC. I also had at least one of the good guy vehicles and one of the bad guy vehicles. I like how the show made actual characters out of the drivers, despite the figures themselves being very generic.

    This is a bit last minute, but tomorrow morning I'm planning on going to the flea market (just to see what some guy that posted a craigslist ad will have), going by Capitol Comics to get 80.5, and probably the Cary Best Buy to grab Masterforce on DVD. Anybody wanna tag along?

    it's my fave series from the G1 era. You'll like it. I really like MetalHawk and the pretenders.

    I may run into you guys at the flea market tomorrow, since the wifey is taking me there (among other places) for Cinco de Mayo de Quaddy :) 

    Also, bsutton has asked me about seeing Avengers. I'm not going this weekend, but would you guys like to catch a matinee next weekend?

    Matinee? I know the Atlantic Springs movie theatre has a really cheap Matinee.

    When I go see this movie this weekend, rest assured it will be in 3-D. The Cary theater has IMAX. Granted, it's not a full IMAX theater like the one downtown, but it's good enough for me :)

    where IS that imax? i know the theater near TRU, but ...i can't think of any other theatres IN Cary. When we lived in Cary, we always went to the 1.50 theatre and for some reason the Atlantic Springs theatre.
    Oh, and who are y'all dressing like, so there won't be too many of the same character. I call dibs on Thor!

    weird, that IS the Imax theatre...i always imagined those theatres to be much bigger
