I sold $20 of Power Rangers today to a co-worker, so I have entrance money...I can go. I'll be there first thing. And, please don't let me spend the other $15 on anything.

 

Great! If anyone sees me, I'll be bringing along some stuff in my trunk -- a Walmart Masterpiece Skywarp, RTS Grappel, 2x RTS Windcharger, some junker RiD toys -- if anyone wants them.

Seriously though, we just hang out. Sometimes if someone has something they want to trade or sell, they bring it along. I'm meeting up with Superquad7 at 8:30 for breakfast, and we'll probably be over at the show at 9 or so. I've got like 10 copies of the one dollar off admission coupon for anyone that wants/needs one, so it'll only be 4 bucks to get in instead of 5. There's also Larry over in the Jim Graham building that has his usual store at the fairgrounds. Look for this man:

I'm gonna be bringing tubs and tubs of stuff to sell outta the trunk, all sketchy like. I'm probably bringing a BotCon 2010 bagged set if anybody's interested.

I doubt I'm gonna get there earlier than noon, though, Raleigh is a good hour and a half away, and it'll take me a while to get prepped. I guess I might just send sq7 or dormamu a text when I get there or something.

@ Gamma: I sent you a text just to be proactive. Falcon, feel free to call me after about 7:45am if you'd like. I'll be unavailable until then because I'm at work, and will most likely leave here around 7:45ish.

For those who would like to meet up with Dormamu and myself for breakfast: McDonald's on Glennwood Rd (beside the Wal*mart - Chick-Fil-A - Pep Boys - etc.) at 8:30 am. We'll be going from there to the Fairgrounds for the toy show to be there at 9am-ish. Coupla hours at the toy show or so, then probably off to Cary TRU/Target and maybe grab lunch. From there, I'll be heading home, but you guys are more than welcome to hang out until the cows come home, of course!

Wasn't able to get to the toy show today. Anyway, I think I saw SQ7 with two other folks at the Lego Store over at CrabTree Valley Mall. Chara - Bruins Jersey? Was that you SQ7?

 

It was really great to actually sit and eat with people and talk about Transformers. I can't think of the last time I've done that...if ever.

 

It's been forever since I saw you guys, and man, I had a blast. I got a huge haul. This is why you should never take me to these things, because I'm like a kid in a candy shop.  

 

It was fantastic to hang out with you guys again; I had a blast! That show rocked and was probably the best I've been to from Inside Pitch. I'm really glad my sleep schedule was so messed up that I basically had to go or sat here at the house unable to go asleep!

All of you guys rock, and those of you who couldn't make it, you were missed! We'll have 2012 to meet up though, so no sweat.

I know 110% it wasn't, as I haven't been to CTVM in quite some time, and I rarely wear sports clothes anymore. It's cool, though. Hopefully, you (and others) can make it out sometime soon!

 

Anyone up for getting coffee or some lunch this weekend and just shooting the shit?

 

I know I probably can't since we met up last weekend and I more than likely have a movie date with the wife Saturday evening (tentative plans). Breakfast might be doable for me if it's early enough.

How many of you are going to Botcon?

 

I am! I normally try to each year, if the budget allows.

 

I will probably go to the Flea Market to check out Larry's most recent stuff on either Saturday the 28th or Sunday the 29th (haven't been there since before the state fair!). If anyone wants to get a later breakfast (10 am ish) or lunch that day, I'm down.
