Anyone know if they're going to announce Botcon 2012 location at the 2011 con? They announced it at the HoF dinner last year, but I don't know if that was standard or not. I know at the GI joe convention, they did not.

Anyone have any idea if they're going to go outside of CA next time?

 

It would be nice to have it somewhere central in the US. Chicago, Milwaukee, Des Moines, St louis.

 

I think Denver would be an excellent location. Its practically in the middle of america.

Agreed. The only reason I have not gone to Botcon these past few years is because they have been too far for me to drive.

 

As we get coverage and enjoy Botcon 2011, we can speculate about where Botcon 2012 will be.

I'm hoping for the Boston/NE are convention, I really want to go to my first Botcon and can't fly out as I'm only 14. That would be totally sexy.

That said, midwest is fine by us as long as it is within a day drive. But its been in the same flippin city twice in 3 years and I fear it will continue as long as the $$$'s come in at the Pasadena location.

 

I hope for Indy or Chicago next year, especially with the 3rd movie destroying Chi-town

 

Chicago, Indy, Cincinnati, Fort Wayne, Lexington those would all work. Hell I'd even do Texas, but this coast thing is a freaking killer on the wallet.

It's really close to Pasadena, I know, but we've got a great location for it, and its not nearly as crowded as California this time of year.

 

I'll put my vote in for Indy. If we can handle GenCon, we can certainly handle Botcon!
