What do we do at the meetups? Well, basically we talk about and show eachother our toys

Yeah, we are a bunch of transformer geeks that like to just hang out and talk TFs. All the news and gossip, good and bad, and all the new figures/releases. When Botcon rolls around we talk about that too

What do I need to bring to the meetup? It only costs $25 per person payable in cash.......HA! just kidding

The important thing is to bring yourself and be ready to introduce yourself and talk about transformers. You are always welcome to bring any TFs that you want to show off or discuss. Also, if you have some TFs and parts you'd like to get rid of, you can bring those too as we often trade/buy/sell stuff too, but that is not the focus of our group. I ususally bring a box or 2 of extra TFs I have laying around and anyone is welcome to rumage through them and buy/trade as they like.

What about kids and family, can they come? Definitely! I have yet to see anyone get bored at our meetups.

Directions to AZ Collectors Marketplace: From anywhere in the Valley take Highway 51 and get off at the Indian School Road exit and go East. The Collectors Marketplace is on the Southwest corner of Indian School & 20th Street (Not Ave.) If you need more info on directions PM me

Directions to Samuri Comics: Take the 60 from either direction and take the Country Club Dr. exit. Go north on Country Club until you get to Southern Ave. Samuri comics is in a strip mall that is on the Northwest corner of Country Club & Southern.

You can hover over the map and see what all the places are. We have been meeting up inside of Dave & Busters (there will be a bunch of silly looking people with transformers shirts on and toys all over the place

As far as driving directions....

From the North, take 101 south and take exit for Rio Salado Pkwy. Make a right at the traffic light and Tempe Marketplace will be on your right.

From the South, take 101 north to University/Rio Salado Pkway exit. Go through light at University and go to Rio Salado. Make a left at the light and it will be on the right.

From the West, take 202 east and get out at Mcclintock exit. At the traffic light, make a right and the Marketplace will be on your left.

From the East, take 60 west (or 202 west and get off at Scottsdale/Rural exit, turn left at Rural and go down to Rio Salado and turn left) to 101 North and follow directions "from the south".

We have been meeting up at Moe's Southwestern Grill, which is now closed for business, so we now have them at Shane's Rib Shack

Directions: Take the west loop of 101 (northbound or southbound) and get out at the Glendale exit. There is a big stadium there, you can't miss it If you need more help than that, please PM me.

Rules for the list (for future, hard to find figures):
1. Make sure you have the dough to give to the fellow board member who gets one for you Cash or paypal works well for most.
2. If there are names still on the list and you see the figure on the shelves, BUY IT!!! and help a board member out.
3. If you get one on your own without help of a board member, or from someone on the board other than me, please let me know ASAP so I can take your name off the list. This will prevent someone from buying too many
4. Please don't abuse this resource. If we discover that you are getting help from other board members just to turn it around and make some cash on ebay or somewhere else, you will be permanently be placed on the "Not Cool" list. FYI, that's not a very good list!

Is there still an Islands at Fiesta Mall? I guess it's a good idea to make sure no one is a serial killer before asking them to come into your home.

I think Tempe Marketplace was another good suggestion actually.... maybe outside near the movie theatre or something. Still open to thoughts and suggestions...

I would like to come but saturday is a no go for me. The tempe marketplace sounds fine to me, it is not a big trip for me. I live on Bethany home rd near the sr51.

I will take note of that and see if there is any more response to which day would be best. What we could do too is alternate weekend/weekday every other month. Like I said, it will be difficult to accomodate everyone.

I'm in. I like the Tempe idea and Saturday better than Sunday. Friday works for me, too. Since we were considering to alternate weekend/weekday every other month, maybe we can also alternate eastside/westside.

Not to spam the other thread *snicker*, I've been a TF fan since the beginning. I'm 34, open to east or west side meetups on either Saturday or Sunday. Oh, and I'm planning on going to BotCon again this year. Haven't seen anything in local stores... oh wait... wrong thread for that...
