Sadly something that needs to be taken into consideration when travelling anywhere on a Saturday is football, early evening journeys often end up being shared with loud drunks (in my experience of coming back from London on a train full of tanked-up Sunderland supporters... OH JOY), so here's what fixtures are coming up:
14 November:
Nothing doing it seems, must be internationals on. This might be a better day, trains won't be as busy.
21 November - anyone coming from Liverpool or Warrington should take care:
