Only one convention/event I really care about (SDCC) is on the west coast, the rest are generally more towards the middle states or the east coast (Botcon, The Gathering). NGW on Steam |

I don't like Chicago but it was better than Rhode Island. Rhode Island was the second worst location to date. The worst being California. This is of Course my opinion. The best location was probably Texas. I will go just about anywhere they have it but it would be nice. Also remember, I've had the furtune of having 2 botcons almost in my backyard. The shows in Kentucky and Ohio were definately nice because they were close to me but there are better locations. WANTED BADLY

Sort of a "where the magic happens" kind of deal. L.A. would also be interesting - glitz, glamor, and the release of the sequel. Maybe get some of both the American and Japanese TF design/creation teams to give talks or be on panels, if that's even remotely feasible.
And I'm still waiting for the "So you want to be a Transformers designer" coffee table book from Aaron Archer. |

I don't know why, it must be due to some exorbitant facilities and hotel costs. Lexington and Cincinnati show the power of keeping the con in the mid-west through their turnout, and that equals revenue. They had to have touted the city, if not, and your are staff/associated with FunPub, you should.

Play Urban Dead and they could be behind you too...
