So... ideas for next year's exclusives?

I'm interested to see what next year could bring but don't really have a clue as to where to start. I'll read some replies and start to put together my own set.

So what do you think next year's set could have?

Well, with all the new repaints coming out this year, I would think it would seem in bad taste to release anymore Armada/Energon/Cybertron/Classics molds. So I'm guessing the majority will be Universe Repaints with a few old molds that haven't been used too frequently thrown in.

I could see this set:
Shattered Glass Part Two Box Set
Autobots:
Sunstreaker
Ironhide
Hound
Prowl

Decepticons:
Soundwave (Cybertron/Music Label/G1 repaint in comic colors)
Ravage
Add on's:

Decepticons:
Octane
Astrotrain
Reflector
Autobots:
Powerglide
Warpath (2 pack Megatron or new Galvatron repaint)

Could also see Games of Deception Part 2. It could bridge the link between Botcon 2006 and 2007. I don't know if Hasbro are going to do third repaints or not, so this is just a guess.
Boxset:
Autobots:
Smokescreen
Red Alert
Ratchet
Leadfoot

Decepticon (Predacon):
Razorclaw (as featured in BC 06 comic)

Add on's:
Decepticons (Preds):
Rampage
Headstrong
Divebomb
Tantrum
Cryotek (as featured in club profile)

Lastly, I could see Animated figures, but no thoughts on what they could do with them.

Punch/Counterpunch from the Universe Sunstreaker mold.

At least I hope so.
"Transformers was a TV show on the late planet Earth that had to do with Large machines turning into small machines and such. I found it very enjoyable, as there are many good points to it. But it forced me into a mental institution after I asked an 18 wheeler "Are you Optimus Prime?" In short: Avoid TV for the most part."

I do not see them making a part 2 for any of the set. I did talk to one of the write of the comic book. Basicly all will be told in next years comic book, it will 5 year FP has put botcon together, also club members will get the 5th figure for the combiner set. So A few of us talk about it, and what we came up with is
A we will get a combine set as the box set, and attending toy will be 1 set of autobots and 1 set of decpection.
OR
B The other figures that were main chacters in the comic book but were no made in to toys will be made.

but those were the 2 main idea that came out of the talk. Hopefully it will be a great set

Bad taste? Piffle. I do not have a Shortround repainted as Seaspray yet. They were on the right track with botcon huffer. I want nothing but Classics 2.0 characters from botcon next year. If Hasbro isn't going to release them at Retail, then Botcon should clean up all the ones that go unmade. Especially since classics will again be backseated for TF2 come june and we will have another 2 year wait.

Cyb Shortround = Seaspray
Classics 2.0 Sunstreaker = Punch/Counterpunch
Cyb Hardtop = beachcomber
Eng Strongarm = Unreleased OTFCC brawn
RID Prime = Unreleased OTFCC Hotspot/brawn
RID Magnus = Motormaster

I am pretty much in full support of any G1 repaint to fit in with classics.

How about a G2 theme? There are certainly plenty of options.

G2 Ramjet (Classics Ramjet)
G2 Starscream (Classics Starscream)
Orange G2 Constructicons (Energon Constructicons)
Black G2 Sideswipe (Universe Sunstreaker)
Blue G2 Grimlock (Animated Grimlock)
Red or Green G2 Slag (Animated Snarl)
Unreleased G2 Swoop (Animated Swoop)
G2 Turbomasters (any of these guys, chosen from various Classics/Universe/Cybertron molds)

I would kill for some chrome. I loved Purple dinohead on TM megs.

Chromed-up Minibots would be hot.

I would also fully support a Gobot's classics set. I would like to see some movie molds for that as well. Movie Dreadwind = leader 1
