Ken | Can't help you on the transfans question, but you're just a hop away from where I went to college (Montreat). I'm rather jealous!

The death of beloved Autobot Optimus Prime was a sad day for all who remember it, and even more so for those like me who didn't get to see it in theaters.
Fortunately, Greensboro will be getting to relive this historic moment once more on the big screen.
The Mixed Tape Film Series in conjunction with ACME Comics will be sponsoring this rare, once in a lifetime Greensboro screening of "Transformers: The Movie."
The movie will play at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 at the Carousel Luxury Cinemas on 1305 Battleground Ave. in Greensboro, NC.
This is the 1986 animated cult classic, jam-packed with robotic death, the voice of Orson Wells, and wicked awesome power metal by Stan Bush and NRG.
There will be a couple of short films and video clips before the film, plus the guys at ACME will be showcasing some rare Transformers memorabilia in the lobby.
Speaking of ACME Comics, we're certain both screenings for this film are going to sell out fast. How can you guarantee you'll get a ticket? Simple. Starting May 2nd, go to ACME Comics at 2150 Lawndale Drive. That's where you'll get your chance to buy your Transformers tickets in advance -- with no surcharge!
