I might consider heading to the TFCon in Toronto this year. Depends on my summer schedule. It's been years since I've gone.

Most dealers will give you the same deal on Saturday as they will that last hour of the show on Sunday.

I'd love to, but unfortunately we've got guests coming from Japan around that time... so guess who's gonna be a tour guide? (>_<)

Sweet, Two Constructicons/Dinobots at one convention.

Maybe we can get Neil Ross too? ;)  That'd be 3 Dinobots and 4 Constructicons. :D  With Welker at Toronto, that's another 1 of each. Add in Hal Rayle, maybe in Toronto, and that'd be all 5 Dinobots between the 2 TFCons. :D

Hopefully things work out differently THIS YEAR, but it should be noted:

Independent dealers (no storefront) = haggles (during entire con weekend)
Inc. Dealers (web shop) = no haggling (not even at end of show)

The official web shops seemed almost insulted when asked for an extra show discount (most of their toys were sold at web prices). Ergo, it seems official shop policy is to not haggle... which I don't really understand. If a 3P toy costs $150+ at the con and online, then why buy it at the con at all? Why not have it shipped to your house free?

Although, on the positive side: there were some smaller shops with good discounts (but no haggling) - $5 Japan store promo micron sets, for example (which were listed as $30+ everywhere else).

And, of course, the independent dealers were AMAZING. Those guys make the show unique and personal.

Pre-Reg done in less than 2 minutes! It's almost like the system was designed to work that way! ;)

    I believe that's the walk-in option, therefore not pre-reg.
If you really want to save the 10 bucks, you can line up on the Saturday morning and get in later. But you'd have to ask yourself if it's worth the wait and entry delay.

Time to register. $50 for the whole weekend seems like a steal!

Not sure I want those two show-exclusive X-Transbots Shafter and Axis toys for an extra $100, so will probably pass on those. Disappointed they seem to be recycling the exclusives from 2014. Or are there different exclusives this year and the registration website just needs an update?

Anybody know what the show T-shirt looks like? Will it be similar to the 2016 Toronto TFCon shirt? I typically haven't liked the BotCon shirt designs, so don't really want to shell out $25 if this year's TFCon shirt will be similar.

Regular admission is only available at the door.
2016 exclusives will be announced leading up to the show.

The 2016 shirt hasn't been revealed yet. Did you like the 2016 Toronto design?

35 minutes away from my house. Definitely going. I have not been to a Transformers Convention since 2004.
