    Man, I was definitely hoping for it to be in Chicago again (since it's really close to me) but since we're getting BotCon out here for the first time in ten years, no reason to complain too hard, haha.

    Might come out to Charlotte anyway. Haven't been out there in a while.

    I loved Charticon and it's nice to have more geek events to hit the Charlotte area since it's fairly local for me.

    Even though my severe insecurities were sabotaging me, I did manage to meet a few people in Chicago and have a pretty good time. I just checked air fare to Charlotte, and it's not that bad, either. I might just be able to do this one.

    The location confuses me, though. I thought Chicago was chosen last year because it was in driving distance for the organizers? I'm curious as to why Charlotte was picked, but if I don't find out, that's fine. I'd really like to see Charlotte anyway!

    Holy f***, this has me excited.
    Charticon 2013 was the most fun I've ever had at a TF convention, and I was really disappointed when I found out it wouldn't happen again. Now it looks like it is happening again, just under a different name. Great to see the Charticon staff will be involved since they did an excellent job last time around (hi Sludge/NC Bulkhead! :D )

    I can see all of those locations working.

    I'm wondering if this is going to become a thing now, TFCon USA locations will becomes BotCon locations?

    With the logo being the same as the Charticon show. Does this mean that TFCon USA has a permanent home base of Charlotte, N.C. ?

    I really hope to go, even if it is just for one of the days, like Saturday. A Transformers con that close is too good to pass up.
