    Some stupid questions:

    What are door prizes?

    Since Scoria is a door prize, I am assuming dealers will be "allowed" to sell 3rd party products? I don't think I could attend an "official only" type of thing (I like official, but I want options :) )

    So you mean to tell me one of the prizes I could win is a product I can pick up at pick up anywhere for 20-25 dollars?

    Prime for a door prize? That's more like a booby prize.Those are in over abundance would be cooler if it was Silverbolt or Powerglide and Bombshell.Anyone else feel duped?

    The door prizes are not our main focus at NJCC. They are more of a thank you for coming out to the show. However I think you guys may have missed the announcement for our larger door prizes $400 Utopia and $300 Scoria that are the highlights of the Transformers prizes. Optimus was promoted here because it's Transformer related and an awesome toy regardless of it's price tag.

    We also have a ton of non related Transformers prizes and more that have not been announced yet. The best part of NJCC is being among fans who enjoy Action Figures and Toys, meeting new people and seeing old friends, all while enjoying the hobby of collecting toys and action figures.

    Door prizes are given away at the show via raffle ticket. Everybody who comes to show will receive a ticket and be able to win when they pay the admission.

    Transformers 3rd party toys will be available.

    At NJCC we focus on guests that are more Toy Industry affiliated. We are an Action Figure - Toy Collector show, that's why you see the selection of guests we have had in the past. People like Aaron Archer, Boss Fight, Shapeways, Toy Finity and so on....

    So we like to keep our focus going in this direction, rather then what you see other con do. We are not a comic book show or Comic-Con type of show. This show is set up so people can collect toys. We feel this gives us a unique event for our attendees.

    In the future as we grow, we plan on opening up to broader ideas that still stay focused on our core ideology. We would love to have current pop culture guests, that fit into the shows path of growth.
