The cons from the later part of the G1 line, the ones that have gotten very little to no media time.

For this story, Barber recycled various entities from the far corners of TF canon as Decepticons, just because he could.

The three F-List Decepticons killed at the beginning are Treadshot, based off of the Universe toy, Brisko, based off of Fangry's Headmaster partner, and Wilder, the Japanese Decepticon Headmaster Junior.

I read the entire story and it was quite good; Barber was at the top of his writing game, IMHO.

Police car. He resembles his WFC counterpart a bit.

Reading the TFWiki entries on it, Punishment actually sounds pretty good, I looked forward to being able read it eventually.
The use of obscure characters is always good,
even though I guess a fair few end up dead
. Since I started reading More Than Meets the Eye I've kind of wanted to see more of them brought to the front just to see what writers do with them.
Sandstorm being the killer is an interesting choice. Makes sense though, being a Wrecker can't be good for your mental well-being
    .

Just read it. It was nice as a quick side story but ultimately led to very little in the grand scheme of things. I enjoyed reading it, but its not something I'm going to go back to re-read anytime in the near future, if at all. It was very grim-dark about how both the Decepticons and Autobots acted in the war and gave us some good insight into Optimus' feelings and regret over those actions. Ramondelli's art seems to have improved quite a bit. Its certainly not unreadable like at times in Dark Cybertron, but I'm still glad he's stuck with crappy Primacy and co. instead of the main stories.

No spoilers for RID in it, but there's one or two for Windblade.

    I read the Wiki synopses.

Now I'm mad at one of my favorite toys for killing one of my favorite characters. Oh well.

I was able to read the first chapter but the second chapter wouldn't stop "downloading." However, I was able to download the third chapter. Any suggestions?

It's currently only available on Madefire for Windows 8. It'll get released on other Madefire platforms at some point in the future.
