every writer forgets that Thundercracker has utmost contempt towards anyone who cannot fly. they only focus on his uncertainty towards the Decepticon cause.

Ideally, Thundercracker should be on friendly terms towards flying Autobots but not those who cannot fly. And the humans too.

Yeah, because IDW has always been complete slaves to the toy bios, right?

I agree but I get feeling TC is not judging the humans as he would non flying Cybertronians. Some Cybertronians do not consider humans as equals and even the more liberal Autobots. Thundercracker in the past considered the Humans unworthy adversaries for someone of his statue.

I get the feeling Thundercracker is none to happy to see his own people.

Apparently Thundercracker prefers females so his favorite shows will be "The Good Wife" or perhaps "General Hospital" ugh soaps.

Ow you made me go there. Thundercracker been watching romance. I can almost here

Jazz: "TC you have been on this planet to long, man."

Kup: "I have to agree and coming from him this is sad."

I see Thundercracker as the kind of person who'd watch Shoujo anime...assuming he'd give anime a watch.

Finally read it, it was alright. There's a lot here that feels like a massive stretch at the moment, and not all of it's sitting entirely comfortably. I'm sure it will be expounded upon though. Character stuff was good, Cosmos was fun, Arcee a bit 'Eh?' Kup is going to become real annoying real quick I sense. A solid start to the season, but it's still going to have to work hard to wow me.

Onto the main event next week!

I hope Barber doesn't waste having Kup and Prowl together.

I'm sure there will be some words between them at some point.

Kup and Jazz make the perfect duo, though.

Yeah you're right, I hate when we get good stories that run afoul of Scripture. It's like punching God in the face!

Nice to see I am not only who's noticed and wondering if they're derailing Galvatron's character; he was willing to do anything to protect Cybertron - fight the D-void and what happened in Chaos - and in D.C., right when Cybertron need him the most.............. he wanted to run? :rolleyes2

I thought that Thundercracker's contempt for those who can't fly was limited to fellow Cybertronians. Who knows, maybe he had some character development? He seemed to tolerate Bumblebee.

He wasn't exactly in his right mind in and leading up to Chaos, being under the influence of D-Void. (and it could easily be argued his characterization there didn't gel with previous characterization, either)

Him Being Like Nova, a Hypocrite who for all his talk about doing whats best for Cybertron is really only concerned about what he gets out of it would be interesting.

I thought this issue was GREAT! I'm so glad we're finished with Dark Cybertron; talk about telling 6 issues' worth of story in twice the necessary space...

With RiD #28, I'm glad we're back to the political thriller aspect of Season 1 of the book, but also a throwback to the cold war aspect we haven't seen since the -ation series.

The Optimus/Starscream scene and Thundercracker's awful soap opera were worth the price of admission alone.

And was I the only one feeling a pang of nostalgia at seeing Thundercracker and Jazz with Earth modes that retain a lot of design cues we haven't seen since E.J. Su was the artist?
