There are heavy rumors, based on what an IDW guy said in an interview, that the leader Tank Megatron does have an switchable faction logo.

 

I'm also thinking about a match between Megatron and SIXSHOT.

 

I kinda doubt Shockwave would've actually undone Overlord's weakness. He would've done SOMETHING, but Overlord presents too much of a wildcard for Shockwave to tolerate.

 

I'm sort of hoping Overlord's finally dead, even though it's pretty unlikely. At this point it'd just be cheapening the character.

 

It'd be cheapening the character a lot more though if he kept coming back constantly and still getting his butt whipped - sort of like what happened to numerous dangerous villains during the 90s i.e. Venom, Sabertooth, Carnage, Bane, Doomsday etc. After a time, they weren't threats anymore.

 

The Scavengers purpose is not really apparent but I think there is a connection between the Lost Light and WAP. I am saying the Scavengers is going present a new problems for the Autobots because it is coming from non traditional roles than being Decepticons. I am not sure their collective purpose to confront Megatron but be a catalyst for something else.

The new Leader Megatron needs this as a repaint/retool down the line as him.

 

Yeah, so what if Megatron DOES have a massive confrontation with Overlord and Overlord works Megatron over like a rag doll. So much that Megatron, though putting up a great fight, is taken to the ropes and pushed nearly to the brink of death...

...and then, of all improbable things Overlord would never see, autobots coming to Megatrons rescue. I mean come on. Can you imagine Megatron having his life saved by Ultra Magnus as he seeks revenge for his OWN near death experience at Overlords hands?

 

Oh, that's good, that'll be perfect.

 

Overlord doesn't stand a chance up against Megatron. Just because he's massively powerful and few Autobots can stand up to him doesn't mean he's the toughest Decepticon going. Just because he want's to challenge Megatron doesn't mean he'd have a hope of winning. It already looks like Megatron kicked his ass repeatedly in the past.

 

Maybe reformed Megatron will refuse to fight Overlord? They might just have a nice cup of tea instead and talk about their problems.

 

Yes, Megatron quite consistently defeated Overlord in their gladiator matches... before Overlord was infused with Ununtrium (element #113), which is what made him go from being a powerhouse to being nigh-invincible.

 

well I rather see him facing the DJD than overlord, we've seen enough of that guy, and we already got the back story of him... kind of... but there's a lot that need to be told about the djd, and i just can't imagine Tarn's face when he finds out about megatron...

but all in all... THIS... IS... A ...DECEPTIOOOON!!!!
