Whoa! I thought all was well with this thread. We had come to an understanding. I am one of the few that is enjoying the ride awaiting the for sure payout at the end, noting that everything up until now had to happen.

Megatron dies, Galvatron takes his place vs G2 where Galvatron magically disappeared.

Fort Max dies, Spike gets angsty. It happens.

Springer dying, thank goodness, he would of sucked up oxygen reserved for Hot Rod. Springer seems to do that... a lot which is why the IDW writers stuck him the even more distant Wreckers (compared to Marvel where they were chums with everyone).

Ratchet... had TO DIE. That was the whole point of his bonding with Megatron and his tragic fate!

Issue 0 will fulfill some of the 'plot holes' aka things Furman hasn't gotten around to explaining yet because you know not everything needs to be explained at once. Having some mystery helps. Other comics and especially other IDW Transformers comics do this well. Use periods and capitals.

ok I apologize for my comments, but as fans don`t you question some of these plot holes?such as when did starscream ever learn that megatron and ratchet were bonded?especially when starscream was messed up in the head?it appears simon doesn`t bother with these things and other questions and that`s my whole issue with this comic.

Megatron going out of his way to make Ratchet into his Action Master sled would be evidence enough of their bond.

They were also on the Ark together.

Also, authors need not explain EVERYTHING. Case in point, MTMTE doesn't explain everything outright only to have epic reveals. Pointless exposition would crowd pages and I think that Furman wants Wildman's art to shine through. That is my 2 cents.

in the fun publications of transformers shockwave removed the bond between ratchet and megatron, maybe simon should have checked this out for ideas,i was hoping that the nucleon would have solved that problem in this comic.

FunPub comics are the worst. That is literal fanwank right there.

I like Furman's way of dealing with Ratchet, you know the death foreshadowed when he was bonded with Megatron!

BIG UPDATE GUYS Nick Roche is doing the Hot Rod story for Regeneration One #0. This is intense.

Guess this book is dying... dying with AWESOME. I too would be listening to Vince DiCola while I worked on such an amazing comic.

ReGen One is the only comic (period including my formerly large DC pull list) that I still buy. Chalk it up to dwindling financial resources and Transformers reclaiming it's rightful place atop my "nerd pyramid". With that said, a 0 issue is awesome news.

even you burningsirius must admit that the fun publications artists will blow furman`s artists out of the water with their art,and who knows maybe issue 0 will be a real zero storywise,by the way is simon planning to off prime too to satisfy his killing frenzy?

I'm not him, but I object to that.

I like Wildman's art, LOVE Geoff Senior's art, and Guido Guidi is hands down my favorite TF artist ever.

I guess you love characters in the background with no face and look like stick people,i seen several on this comic,on another note furman never talks about what happened to g.i. joe, I gave the guy a chance but every issue has been boring so far,the writing is terrible, look how long it`s taken hot rod to try to find primus?and have not found him yet,and yet how easy it was for galvatron in the original run to find him.

Stick figures, I enjoy Wildman's organic faces of the Transformers. It always made them look more alive with spit, 'blood' and stuff coming out of them, wrinkles in the face and so on. The visor eyes made Transformers have 'shades' so when they were battle damaged like Scorpinok, pieces of the shades were removed to see the eyes behind. I love all the artists that are giving their homage to Marvel G1.

However, Guido is the best tf artist out there currently no doubt. Each artist is going to be a great addition with their style. I hope Starscream is drawn without his right 'ear' in mimicing his concept art to the T lol.

This isn't a GI Joe comic, so I don't think anyone really cares. I sure don't. Just assume they're dead.

Also, Marvel's GI Joe series isn't even canon with this anymore, since it undoes the later G2 crossover where Megatron returned (and they were shut down not long after that) if you add them back in, they become this strange splinter semi continuity, and... yeah, that's a mess.

Primus is dead canonically in issue 75 and you can nix GI Joe without worrying about anything. Did anyone read the comic before reading this!? Primus can't be found because Hot Rod isn't trying to find Primus... but something else. Primus was of course super easy for Galvatron to find due to his Unicronian origins.

Man, I am sorry if I sound crass, but seriously if GI Joe not being in the comic ruins it for you, don't read it.

the more I read furman the more I`m glad that the real marvel transformers ended with g2,and I`ll even give credit to simon for the 2 page strip last days of optimus prime, this new deal is a total mixed bag of US and UK stories, bludgeon`s plan made more sense in g2 then here with energizer rabbits, you love rg1 that`s your choice I`m not here to convert anybody just telling why the comic is a disappointment to me,but I`ll bet this fiasco comic will end on a bad note with many fans wondering why they wasted $3.99 each month for this.

People put their opinion up here to persuade others. That is what a conversation is about. If you didn't want to persuade, you would of lurked and kept to yourself. I do so on a great many topics I don't care about like a lot of the toys (since it comes down to aesthetics) but I won't let people rag on a great send off. I like that the comic isn't even over and it is already done and finished that this is a horrible comic. Nothing wrong has happened. What is wrong with some different looking Transformer life you call 'energizer rabbits'? I thought they looked great for being true Cybertronian faction aliens.

Anyways, your opinion is wrong because the facts are not on your side. So much hype is surrounding issue 0. I can't wait to see what Nick has in store. He promises something awesome and he will deliver. I think issue 0 is what most of the old fans wanted (I am not said old fan but a new comer who read all the US issues only). I know I am pumped. I am sad you cannot feel the joy of reading this epic tale of destiny.

Issue 0 sounds really cool to me so far. I don't mean to suggest that the story will just be filler, but I hope it is something that Simon Furman thought up partially to buy some time for Andrew Wildman to complete his other commitments and come back as the full-time artist.

I really don't want to wait until issue #100 to get Andrew Wildman back on board. He was a big reason that I started buying this series in the first place.

RG1 really brought my interest back with #92, and I can't wait for #0.

I have enjoyed the book, there are parts of it I don't care for but overall I think that it has been pretty good. Not jaw dropping, but good. I would rather see it go out on its own terms.
