That sounds like a interesting theory, but I have no idea how he end up like this. The issue seems to tease a little bit of backstory for Overlord and a host of other things. Again I hope Overlord survives his inevitable rampage aboard the ship. I suspect he will severely throttle Chromedome.

 

Reading the preview, I really hope that

the one person that's bested Overlord in a fight is Buzzsaw.

 

That would be so great. Buzzsaw should be like an unofficial phase-sixer.

 

I'm all for it turning out to be Ambulon who beat overlord, changed into a big leg and kicked him.

The title of the prologue reminds me of this book:

Overlord is just too smalltime for Buzzsaw. Buzzsaw probably casually cannon-blasted Metroplex or something and he fell on Overlord, KO'ing him.

Buzzsaw took down Omega Supreme in the original marvel run, so he's definitely got it in him.
