From the looks of it, it's more like he's invading the Fortress of Solitude, and Unicron's hand is just in the background to show he's coming for Earth.

'Unicron Hand' is recreating the creation of the DC universe, with the hand rising up and causing existence. Shows up in every crossover.

AGREED! I know we all love O.P. but a GL has to be without fear. G1 OP was ate up with fear. Fear of failure of losing friends etc. But, hope? Man he's got a patent on that one.

He would work better with supes. Colors and all.
Grimlock or Brawn would be better GLs.

I had my own fanfic universe where the JLA were trapped in bot bodies by reversing the process used to trap Rodimus and company in synthoid bodies. Then they were placed in transformers bods with similar abilities/tech to thier powers. It could have worked to tie multiple cross overs together.

They actually retconned that because a guy would have to be pretty screwed up to be totally fearless (and thus not care about losing friends etc), so lately, the qualification for a GL is to have the ability to OVERCOME great fear, which Optimus has in spades as well.
