Just finished reading it. Loved it. So much world-building. The ending was great, too.

Can't wait for the next issue.

Awesome.. Didn't see HIM coming at all, which just made the last page all the more fun.
Powerful stuff all round and a nice balance between humour and horror.

Adaptus is one of the gods mentioned by Springarm in Chaos Theory, along with Primus and Mortilus

-ZacWilliam, apparently he's somehow connected to tfing

No. The 13 Primes are legendary and mythic figures. Maybe even Demigods in some ways, but they've never really been Gods in a worshiped "supernatural" divine being way.

Before this we've only had a few named "Gods" in TF: Primus, Unicron, Devil Z, the One, and the Chronarchitect chief among them. The early Marvel comics mentioned Primus and Unicron as part of whole larger pantheons of gods but the others are not named.

Roberts has added Adaptus and Mortilus to that list.

-ZacWilliam, would love to see the Myths of Primus, Adaptus and others detailed inTPB extra material if nowhere else...

Btw, the TRANSFORMERS facebook page has updated with Creator commentary on the first 4 pages.

-ZacWilliam, nothing mindblowing, but neat that they're doing it.

Well I guess it's a good issue if when reaching the end I say, "Oh man..."

Yeah I enjoyed this. I loved the reaction to Tailgate's choice. They were really building it up well. I'm a little disappointed we didn't get to see ANYTHING that showed the Decepticons for what they were. I'm also disappointed that they didn't seem to show any Autobot faults to him. I would have liked him to receive an impartial history lesson and let him make his decision from that. Sure the Cons would look bad but the Bots shouldn't be pure either.

Ratchets story was interesting and a little creepy. It felt rushed though.

Over all I enjoyed it and look forward to the next issue.

    So, those Triple M Genericons..
I thought they looked familiar, it was the head designs that did it, but it just clicked with the
branched spark and proximity pains, boom! Jumpstarters! Now obviously those two are very dead, so what's the deal here?
It can't just be a visual nod.
    Can it?

Loved it. Even the backgrounds were telling a story.

This book is the highlight of each month for me right now. Can't wait for the trade.

Here's the part that sort of confuses me... but it would actually explain that part in a very interesting way (while making a lot of other stuff MORE complicated).

Didn't the Lost Light jump back in time a considerable stretch? Isn't that what the last panels of issue #1 were suggesting? Could those 2 guys be ex-Decepticons? It seems cool, but I think that it would conflict with a bunch of other stuff... maybe?

I don't think so. I certainly didn't read it that way and this is the first time I've seen someone suggest it.

Rather some point in the future they will, in despiration, devise a method to send a warning backwards through time to try to stop what happens to them. And they will fail.

-ZacWilliam, as for the MMM Genericons, I noticed the likeness too, but it really is only head shape. I would guess it's just meant to be a cute visual nod to the fact that they're joined spark like the JStarters were. I'm not expecting it to be more than that.

The message states it's from the future.
Maybe it is just a visual nod but I doubt that very much as it's very specific. Hmmm..

Yeah, I never once believed they travelled through time. I always assumed, especially given the wording of the transmission, the message was sent back.

Um, no. They merely moved through space in a random direction. The message Prowl got was from the future trying to change the present.

The Lost Light is still is the same time as RiD.

Yet another fantastic issue, dat ending!
I'm really liking the world building in this issue.
I love that whole bar scene with everything going on in the background, Skids stealing that little server 'bot with his grappling hook and Chromedone and his crazy-straw, I'd like to imagine that's how all Transformers with mouthplates drink, haha.
Swerve continues to be brilliant, I hope we get to see some of his tormenting of Red Alert in action at some point, I LOL'd heartily at that.
Pipes spewing rust from his mouthplate and eyes was fantastically gruesome.
I bet there was much rejoicing among Drifts haters when
    he got infected.
    Fort Max
is pissed! Looking forward to seeing more of him.

So yeah, great issue as always and bring on #5! It's gonna be another long month.
