I think it will. Besides the current ongoing series of Robots in Disguise and More Than Meets the Eye, Last Stand of the Wreckers is pretty much THE Transformers comic to read from the past few years - even if you ignore the also-amazing extras.

I didn't. And I paid for expedited shipping that didn't happen. Even without the extras, it would have been worth the price I paid. The extras make it even more so.

I finally got this last week. I already owned the tpb, but a friend wanted it, so this was well worth the $17.change I got it for. Great story and awesome extras. Not regretting this in the least.

Sort of the same with me; I have the hardcover (and it's AWESOME!) but none of the other releases, but I do plan to get IDW Collection Vol. 6, so I'll have two copies, but it will totally be worth it! :lol

After hearing raves about it on WTF@TFW, I finally broke down yesterday and ordered a copy off Amazon. It showed up this afternoon, and I am very pleased with it. Since I've only read the story previously using my iPhone IDW Transformers app, it was very nice to have a physical copy to peruse. Love the extras that are included.

Definitely my favorite piece of Transformers fiction, ever. Made me want an Overlord so damn badly.

Picked up the Hardcover from the local used bookstore in almost perfect shape, for $10 today at lunch.

Haven't had a chance to read the extras yet.

not only would it have been a better ending for Kup, but it would've actually been the payoff that Guzzle's story didn't seem to get. LSOTW did a good job at being a standalone story, it revealed a bunch of plot threads during its own run and tied most of them up pretty nicely. Except for Guzzle, who it was hinted had a grudge against Kup, but that grudge never ended up going anywhere

Agreed. I was disappointed that Guzzle's anger toward Kup, which was the ENTIRE REASON he chose to join the Wreckers, never had a payoff. Though technically Springer was more to blame for the death of his friends, since he's the one who was so hell-bent on getting Kup back at any cost.

And going out in such a dramatic way would be so much cooler for Kup than that Infestation nonsense.

I've been wanting to read this for a while, even before I decided to start picking up comics just 'cause I kept seeing how much love it gets. Got it today and oh man, awesome. Pure awesome.
I tried not to read it all in one go but it was too good not to, I bloody loved it, and even though I knew the deaths were coming, I still found myself going "no! not [name]!", it's hard not to get attached to these characters, even if they are redshirts.
I'm sure I'll be reading it about a million more times.
