Anyone read this fun little story he posted on Facebook for Fun Pub? Basically the two interdimensional baddies (Sideways and Gong) try to mess up the events of the 1986 Transformers movie merging that reality with the GoBots universe. Hilarity ensues. Vector Prime has to come to the rescue. Neat choices for substitutions of characters, like Bent Wing for Arcee, or Major Mo for Ultra Magnus. Nice illustrations too. I do love that Crasher becomes Fracture, becoming that reality's version of Cyclonus, while Spoons becomes Deadlift, their version of Scourge. Basically it's an excuse for Jim to write some GoBots acting out the Transformers movie. If you are a GoBot fan, you may like it.
If you want to read the actual text of the story, it was posted in pieces to Facebook months ago. Here is an archive or the text compiled together. Ask Vector Prime/Facebook src - Transformers Wiki It has a lot of fun scenes from the movie where GoBots replace Transformers. Moreover every time they mess with reality or try to fix it, different characters get substituted or replaced... so sometimes Megatron is the villian, sometimes it's Cy-Kill. Sometimes the villian is betrayed by Starscream, other times by Zero. Look at this scene inside Astrotrain when most of the Decepticons have been replaced by Renegades...
Sometimes it's just fun to do this... Major Mo tries to open the Guardian Matrix of Leadership to stop Galvatron on the planet Quartex.
I noticed that Swindle was present at the battle, which is weird because Swindle wasn't in the 1986 movie. His part in the movie seemed to be part of the battle that Shrapnel had. I asked the author and he confirmed it was a typo. He meant Shrapnel.
Hot Rod and his pal Shotgun introduce Boulder to his Autobot and Guardian friends who crashed on the planet Quartex.
Looks like my guesses were right. This picture was just posted to the Ask Vector Prime facebook page. Crain Brain and Screw Head become Sweeps, and it looks like Fracture's "armada" is Stallion getting the Classic Mirage body?
