When war inevitably breaks out again between the Autobots and Decepticons, who do you think the Scavengers will team up with? I like to think they'd team up with the Autobots, become a unique faction of ex-Decepticon soldiers. On the whole, though, I think they'd stay independent and out of the war and just go around the universe doing stuff.
It depends on who are the groups are. For bunch of Decepticons this group is pretty soft spark to others. I can see them join the Lost Light crew and not Prowl's. I can see them join Soundwave's group and not Galvatron despite not seeing issue that is coming out for tomorrow.
There have been so many sub-groups, sub-factions, heel turns and face turns since the war ended, that it is really hard to see a full on Autobot/Decepticon war happening again. I think it would take a soft reboot in order for that to happen, and if that were the case, I don't think the Scavengers would be recognized as a sub-group anymore. I can see another war breaking out between Cybertronians, but in the current IDW universe, I think that a lot of traditional Autobots and Decepticons will be fighting for the other side, the Scavengers included.
I think the Scavengers will form their own, third faction, and the Autobots and Decepticons will have to team up against them.
The Scavengers are just a team like the Wreckers. With that said i dont think they will ever be that big of a threat tbh.
They will rule Quintessa and bring about an age of peace and happiness. Then they'll send Grimlock to invade Eukaris and rule the Beast Formers as king.
Misfile will defeat the Lost Light crew, while Crankcase goes after Cybertron. The Earth Decepticons and Galvatron face the wrath of Fulcrum.... Krok takes on the Galactic Council *and* Black Block Consortia who have teamed up to try and stop them. With one gun in each hand, he of course wins. And Spinister invades the Functionist Universe.
I think they'll end up teaming up with the Lost Light Autobots, then after the battle's won they'll immediately reject any offer by the crew to join up and just go their separate way.
