    I never liked Prowl that much until I started reading his IDW stuff.
    All of a sudden, I wanted a Masterpiece Prowl really bad.
    Then we got one!

    And really, going through the IDW books (I am just starting) it is uncanny how much the designs of the Masterpieces take from the IDW designs. Maybe that's just because they were both trying to accomplish the same thing - G1 designs, except living in the real world.

    Cyclonus is high up there, if not my favorite. I like Rodimus, too, as well as Shockwave, Megatron, and to some extent Prowl/Prowlstator.

    I've got to go with Cyclonus. He could have been the hard ass with a hidden heart of gold trope, but he goes way beyond that...he comes across as a flawed, complex, and almost real person.

    I also love me some Swerve...

    Yes I also agree with everyone saying cyclonus after all just check my username I think it's very clear cyclonus is one of my favorite

    Blurr, albeit that's kind of a given
    Springer, his appearance in LSOTW is outstanding
    Fort Max, probably my favorite character in MTMTE S1

    #1. Ultra Magnus. He's really badass, plus, characters like how he 's portrayed in MTMTE really crack me up.

    #2. Whirl. Again, he's absolutely hilarious.

    #3. Thundercracker. He had an interesting arc, and is really likable.

    #4. Tailgate. He's so adorable.

    #5. Overlord. A really entertaining, and extremely powerful villain.

    Man... IDW has done so much great stuff, but I'd have to say the core cast of MTMTE. All of them. Some of the best TF stories and characterization ever.

    But if I had to pick one the last year has certainly brought the mighty Megatron out as a breakout frontrunner. All hail indeed...

    Edit: Saw Soundwaverulls post and reminded me of my beloved Thundercracker. My first Transformer toy as a kid so he's always had a special place for me, but his characterization since "All Hail..." has been so good. Having a dog and being a terrible screenwriter. HAHAHHAHAHA. add him to the list.

    Edit 2: Doh, the Scavengers too are so great. Man so many great characters in the IDW-verse. Prowl too, love that ruthless bastard.

    Whirl keeps entertaining me every issue he appears, I like Swindle in the comics, too... Megatron gets a nice and different touch with his Autobot role...

    Swindle...oh man do I love this guy.

    I've kind of started liking Superion thanks to the recent issue and I usually consider him kind of lame.
