Interviews with James Roberts, Mairghread Scott, and John Barber at WWAC Pardon the self promotion, but I think some people might be interested in the tidbits I got from interviewing James for WWAC. James Roberts on IDW’s Transformers: More Than Meets The Eye It's an audio interview that's hosted on Youtube, for the curious. I interviewed James back in November, but production difficulties led to delays. I have a text interview with Mairghread Scott and John Barber regarding Combiner Wars, as well. Windblade Returns in Transformers: Combiner Wars
Pretty good interview. It could have used more talk about me ;p However being serious, very good interview.
Interesting to hear about the iteration of ideas they went through about reintroducing fembots in a bigger way before Windblade was finalized. Also good to get a more in-depth explanation of the estriol spark retcon. Thanks for posting.
Thank you for the interview! Always love listening to James! i would like to ask whether you had any additional questions that you wanted to ask but couldn't due to a shortage on time etc?
What term were they talking about regarding Tailgate? Was there some "female" term used to refer to Tailgate? I must have missed it or it was a word I wasn't familiar with the connotation. Tailgate as female is fine (as would be male, naturally), I'm just curious what the word was. Cyclonus as a female school master makes me laugh and fits so well too, lol.
I can assure you that we had more than enough time, he was quite the pleasant conversationalist. He told me everything i wanted to hear and more. Along those lines- My interview with Barber and Scott for Combiner Wars is up! Windblade Returns in Transformers: Combiner Wars I even got information about the Punch miniseries that was announced in 2011.
Both interviews were fantastic! Good job, and thank you for sharing them here! You asked Roberts everything I would have asked myself pretty much. By the way, is there a transcript? If not, that's cool don't worry. Just curious.
But ingenue mean "an innocent or unsophisticated young woman." By definition, you can't be both male and ingenue. Unless, of course, you just mean the characteristics of an ingenue. I've always viewed him as male personally. A very young man, but still male.
My favourite part of that interview is, of course, hearing there'll be more Cosmos. As with most times we hear there's a character returning, I hope it's Sixshot. Maybe it could also be Verity?
