Very nice, clean display. I have 3 of those white shelves in my house for displays and I love them. Very affordable, and the white provides a great background contrast.

    Update Aug 20 2014

Finally brought my SDCC Metro out.
Thinned things out to MP, my favorites from TFP, Metro and some Generations.
Just waiting for Jetfire/Chromia/Arcee to swap out Blaster, Orion Pax, and FOC Grimlock.

Thanks guys. I try to keep it sparse enough to let individual figures stand out, but it's going to get harder each time a Masterpiece, FT Dino or interesting Generations figure comes out. I'd like to get a nice glass display case for the MP's and use the white display to bring out the majority of my TFPrime figures, but it's hard to spend money on nice display cabinets when there are so many awesome TF's to get.

Very nice collection you got goin.

I've been eyeballing the exact same bookcase for a while now, but didn't now how it'd work for displays. You have any pros or cons on it? I was going to get like 6 or 8 of them. And I like the Styrofoam steps you put in to offset things.

    Thanks!

These are the $40-ish bookshelves at Walmart. They're cheap and easy to put together. They feel sturdy and strong. I like the white because I feel like it makes the figures stand out better and since the white hides the dust, it allows me to dust less frequently.(every 2-3 weeks instead of every week with black) I don't really see any cons on them, except of course I would rather have lighted store display/museum quality shelves that cost $700-$1200. For now, they're great. The styrofoam steps work fine for now since they are free, but I'd like to cut some half shelves out of wood and paint them white instead. You can't go wrong buying 1 or 2 to try them out.

Exactly the answer I was looking for and I'm on the same boat as you. I can't justify spending thousands of dollars on display cases...........yet ;)
But I appreciate your response and I know what I'll be purchasing in the next day or two and I can finally put some of my collection out. Everyone's all boxed up. Kinda sucks having a ton of these guys and nowhere to put them.

I'll post my entire Windblade collection up when the book is released, but for now a few fun shots.
