Thanks! It took a bit of finagling to get them to stay on there, if I recall, but agreed it looks nice on the Henkei Convoy mold.
"Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior!" New acquisitions: TFSS Rewind and Chromedome being all Conjunx Endura: Custom Classics Voyager Shockwave using the Energon Shockblast mold:
All the single ladies, all the single ladies! SXS weapon upgrades for TF Prime/RID Voyager Skyquake and Dreadwing. These sets really complete the figures! Ultra Magnus (Pandora-01 Mebsuta upgrade for FOC Ultra Magnus) and Rodimus (Takara Cloud Hot Rodimus). I think these two look great together!
Updated my main Masterpiece shelf displays with BadCube Brawny and Backland, X-Transbot Glider and Ollie, Generations Warpath, FansToys Soar, and Keith's Fantasy Club Transistor and HiFi.
Those tailfins on Cloud Rodimus... First time I see them transformed like that. Are they modded? Love it.
^ Nope, nothing's modded on Cloud Hot Rodimus (aside from the addition of his Dr. Wu guns). At least, not yet (I plan to give him some chrome pipes on his forearms and shins, IDW-style). Thanks!
MBC002 Military Titans upgrade set on Platinum Edition FOC Combaticons/Bruticus with Takara Arms Micron Shockwave: So yes, apparently MBC FOC Bruticus is able to do this with FOC Shockwave! Look ma, no assistance required! This set is totally badass and is definitely worth the price of admission! FOC Bruticus and the gang. Guess this means I need to track down a WFC Megatron.
Takara Lost Age Deluxe Wheeljack: Turned his waist around and fiddled with his shins and feet to give him slightly longer legs (it's tricky to get him to stand but once you get him balanced he's good to go). Also gave him a bunch of swords and weapons for more geewun and his Drift-esque/Wreckers homage from Transformers Prime. Kinda wish they went with this design for the DOTM movie as I could see him hanging out with the Wreckers (weapons designer hanging out with his trigger-happy customers ). PRID Deluxe Wheeljack, Generations Deluxe Wheeljack, and Takara Lost Age Deluxe Wheeljack:
To give Generations Legends Megatron (Takara version) some more traditional weapons I tried out batmanprime's suggestion of using Energon Battle Ravage's fusion cannon and spiked mace/ball-and-chain tail weapon accessories, and the results are great! I painted the fusion cannon (which was translucent yellow plastic) glossy black using a Gundam marker, fashioned a ball jointed peg (using some junker parts) to attach the fusion cannon to his arm, and voila!
Modded my Takara Cloud Rodimus with rear spoiler wings and silver exhaust pipes on his forearms and shins.
looking at those bayformer side by side with real transformer make them look like mutant from another dimension... nice collection btw, the G1 group look amazing.
Thanks, much obliged! Also just testing some poses for my Play Arts Kai Metal Gear Solid (with Mini Revoltech Solid Snake and Cyborg Ninja) and Street Fighter IV collection. I plan to get some Apex clear acrylic risers for the SF4 guys so they can be seen more easily.
