oops, not sure where I got that idea from. What's he based on then IDW?

Ya the doors just pop off and I store them separately. So does the hood panels over his shins. They even press fit on the back of his feet.

It's from Marvel legends' Bishop. Had to modify it to fit though.

Your pics look so very nice. I can't wait to see more as your collection display evolves.

As a friendly concern, I worry about the figures being displayed so close to the windows. It makes the display more attractive, but overexposure to direct sunlight (UV rays) is very damaging to the figures. Overtime, it will cause discolouration, and accelerate their deterioration.

I don't mean to scare you. The window blinds help a little. I myself am thinking of investing in some insulating film covering for my windows, which will protect against the harmful UV rays.

Do you think it will still be an issue if those blinds are closed 99.9% of the time?

I'm not sure. With your interior lights turned off, can you see any bright direct sunlight that shine through the cracks of the blinds onto the figures?

Indirect sunlight exposure also affects plastic and comics, but at a much slower rate. UV reflecting off walls. For some people, they have nowhere else to display their figures except near windows. I suppose it all comes down to how paranoid the collector is. We either accept the fact and just enjoy the figures, or we take the extra precautions to try and prolong the condition of our toys.
Such as keeping them away from UV light and clear of dust/skin oils, and air conditioned.

If you really care about the figures, there's always UV filter blinds/curtains, or solar insulation film.

Added MP Grimlock today. I'll be buying a new wall unit soon so I'll have some more room for my collection and get them away from the window. Thanks for the feedback guys!
