No problem. And, yes, I know what you're talking about. It took me a while to find a really nice box for my G1 Jazz. I actually convinced someone on Ebay who was selling a mediocre Jazz figure with a really nice box to sell me just the box (since his auction wasn't selling). I paid him good money for it, but it was well worth it.

Here are two more additions. I also have a pre-rub Mirage (early diaclone version) on its way next week. These will display better when I get the acrylic cases, at which point I'll take new pics.

It can be hard to find them in really minty shape and complete (box, insert, and figure). They do pop up if you have the patience, though.

 

Pre-rub Mirage (early '84 diaclone version with Takara only stamp) has arrived. Still waiting on all of my display cases for the new additions, though.

Are you referring to mint-in-box as opposed to having figures displayed loose? If so, yes, that's the focus of my collection. I also purchase display cases (some have to be custom made) for all of my boxed figures as well. I have them grouped together on three different tables, but I'm waiting for the next batch of display cases to arrive before taking group shots of them.

 

MIB Rodimus Prime and MISB Titanium Ultra Magnus. I know Ultra Magnus isn't a vintage G1 piece, but I like him much more than the original.  

 

Added Sideswipe to my Series 1 bots and started building on some of the Series 2 characters (Hoist, Grapple, Inferno, Tracks, and Skids). I hope to have all of these in individual display cases this weekend, at which point I'll get some group shots of the entire collection on my shelves.
