very nice old school collection, please tell me you just bought the lexan cases and didn't buy in to the AFA BS hype. Looks like a lion-o peeking out in one of your pics... do you have more figs?

Thanks. That's a nice way to put it. :)

I did own a couple of AFA/MISB figures, but I recently sold them. They made me nervous. If a bubble were to detach from the card back, I would basically be flushing a lot of my money down the toilet. That's why I like to focus on MIB figures. I usually piece them together and if something does need to be fixed, I don't have to stress over breaking a sealed box. I like to display them in the acrylic cases, though. They just look so much better. Also, I was wondering if someone would notice that Lion-O in the shot. Good eye. The shelf underneath has a whole bunch of random 80's and 90's toys like Gobots, Thundercats, G.I. Joe, Muscle Men, Godzilla, He-Man, Garbage Pail Kids, M.A.S.K., Voltron, Scooby-Doo, X-Files, etc.

It's not small in terms of how much money I've spent. :lol

Thanks. I have a Sunstreaker on its way, which will add a little more flair for the good guys.

Thank you. I never tire of looking at them, which tells me I've finally found my collecting niche. Plus, it brings back those great memories as a kid more than anything else.

Awesome collection. I am jealous! I still get excited when I see these figures MIB, just like I did when I was a kid when they were sold in stores. I especially love that Prowl & Soundwave boxart.

Thanks, Ice. The thing is I rarely saw any of these in stores when I was a kid. I did get Soundwave for Christmas in '84, but all of the good figures were usually sold out by the time I got around to searching for them in stores. Anyway, I'm trying to get my revenge now. :lol  I don't know what it is, but the Prowl box art is one of my favs as well. It just stands out more than some of the others.

Btw, I've got a couple of big hitters coming in the next two weeks (one Autobot and one Decepticon). I can't wait to post pics once they arrive.

You don't happen to like Jazz, do you? Ha. Anyway, thanks. I will be adding some more MP figures in the coming months as well.

very nice collection. Quick question, since I see no tags so I assume these aren't AFA, so if that's the case, where did you get those cases for those figures?

I want to keep my misb figures safe.

You're correct. These aren't AFA graded figures. However, you can purchase acrylic display cases either on their website or through Ebay (seller is "cgacases").
