Welcome to the TFW2005.COM Transformers Collection Showcase! This forum is the discussion are for you to share your collection with us by way of photos and/or videos. Please, feel free to start a new thread to show off your Transformers collection so that we can all talk about how cool it is!

    Getting Started:

Our suggestion is that each member create one thread for themselves, and keep updating that thread as you get new items, rearrange your shelves, etc.

We encourage you to title each thread - MY NAME's Collection! or MY NAME's Transformers Collection! - or something similar. Other members have came up with pretty clever titles for their collection threads as well. Have fun, but also keep in mind that this is the "title" of your collection.

We will occasionally feature the best of the best collections and their owners on the front page from time to time! Currently, we do require such a collection to have a Collections Gallery uploaded here. To view member's Collections Galleries, go here: Transformers Collections - TFW2005.COM Notably, your Collections Showcase forum thread and your Collections Gallery are two different things.

Rule #8, This Forum, and Your Collection Showcase Thread:

Review this rule prior to posting here:

    8. No Website Advertising or Personal Ads
Any posts or threads solely to promote a website or store, Transformers related or not, will be removed. This includes making posts with the intended purpose of promoting your own web endeavors such as review sites. You may place a link in your signature. The more you contribute to threads, the more exposure your site will get. If you wish to share your reviews, please post the entire content in the review here (text, video, pics, etc) for the community to interact with. Links to the source can then be placed at the end of the content. Personal ads looking for roommates, dates or “vote for me in this contest” will also be removed.

    8.a Exceptions
If a member has a personal website, curates a niche topic related to Transformers or collecting, is generally regarded as well versed in that field, and does not have similar site elements to TFW2005 (community discussion, daily news, etc), the staff reserves the right to allow a single thread documenting updates to the site and discussion of it's posted content. This will be done on a limited, case by case basis.

When you post a collection thread here, you may certainly attach your photos using the attachment feature with your posts (it's the little paperclip icon). You can then use those attachments to post your photos within your post content to share your collection here (For more on attaching images, please read this sticky post: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...ase/318632-attaching-images-can-help-you.html).

If you have an account to a "photo hosting site", you may certainly use that for sharing your collection. A "photo hosting site" is a website used specifically for sharing photos, such as Photobucket, Flickr, etc.

If you have a "personal website" or a "blog", refrain from using links to those photos in your threads here. You may still link to such a site in your signature, but that is the only space permissible. If you have questions or concerns about Rule #8, please contact an administrator.

Collections Forum and Gallery - There's a Difference:

Understand that the Collection Showcase Forum and the Collection Showcase Gallery are two different things. The forum is the discussion area for your collection; the gallery is the Staff-maintained area for member's collections that are submitted for archival. For more on the Collections Gallery, visit the guidelines posted here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...allery-submissions-guidelines-procedures.html

Now, share your collection with us by posting and have fun!
