8/31/13 - Orignal Post updated after reorganization

So after 10 years of crazy collecting, and moving to a new studio apartment in Brooklyn a few months back I finally decided to pare down the collection and focus on quality over quantity. So when I moved I put a ton of figures in storage and thought long and hard over what to bring to the new place.

Take a look at my previous collection threads in my previous homes to see what I was working with:

I really loved the display of the G1 with their generations counterparts. I feel it shows the best of both. And the artwork in your walls is really beautiful. Congratulations and thanks for letting us in :)

agreed--putting the G1's with their generation upgraded versions is a really good display concept. I like it. Thought about that meself, but desided to separate mine by groups instead.

nice and clean...I have plenty of extra dust on my displays if you need any!

    heh

Everything looks great! Nice decorating job also with limited space, very cool. Seeker shelf stood out the most but that's just personal bias ;)  The mixed displays work great too. Get another FE Prime for your TFP display though imho. :)

Staring at that Energon-mold combiner really does get on my nerves. And 2 or 3 years ago, I wouldn't have thought twice about it. But nowadays I really just cant justify the pricetag. Since the move, I'm really on a budget now.

I have a lot more G1s and Classics in storage, but I ONLY display if I have both. (G1 Wreck-Gar and Nightbeat are currently at the top of my shopping list)

I love everything about this collection. However, aside from the awesome figures and display cases, the art work REALLY stands out to me. I hope you don't mind, but when my wife and I move out of this apartment and into a house (with a bigger man-cave), I'm definitely going copy a lot of those design elements!
