Fantastic I didn't know that, really want a proper Cliffjumper - love the G1 mold. Just spotted the new sig - loving Shockwave, it looks perfect. Very jealous! Cheers for the friend request too.

He's not quite finished yet, at the very least his new bigger G1 head will be in place tonight, I've tried putting in a swivelling chest section to hide/unhide a 'con logo so he can be displayed alo 'toon or ala toy. I'm gonna leave it overnight just to make sure everything dries solid. Once that works (or not) I can then finally secure the hips to whatever top end I end up using.

He is now my fave figure by far tho......Soundwave is really growing on me too.....I was gonna go for the new third party one but I've decided to keep mine...I'll just get their Frenzy & Rumble instead.

Cheers man. I've used part of an axl rod from a tamiya kit with two small black circular hoops that are glued to the underside of his chest which enable the rod to spin. On one side of the rod is part of his chest cut to the size of the con logo, on the other side is an identically sized styrene square with a 'con logo applied.

So.......in theory it should spin to whatever side you want. We'll see what theory says in the morning!

Cheers dude! MP Rodimus has been and gone lol I'm only collecting/making season 1 characters now...that was the era that means the most to me and has some of the best characters. Only MP Menasor could possibly change my mind but then I'd have to start on the rest of season 2!!

Cheers buddy, coming from a big Shockwave fan that's much appreciated! Nope.....aborted sadly, I think the parts I used were too small.....I may revisit with styrene tubing.....I may not....lol tbh because it was Shocky I tried going the extra mile but thankfully it was easy enough to smooth over.

Hopefully should have MP Swoop stretching his wingspan across a Detolf by the weekend. He's another I always wanted as a kid but never got.....never got a UK release IIRC?

I like the use of the tftm Megatron wings. What are the wing weapons though??

 

The wings are shamefully ripped from Scotscream's version lol I had to modify them tho to get them to extend fully at the tip.

Weapons are a mixture.....launchers from a Zoid Gravity Ptera and the missiles are a pair of earphones inspired by Buzby, I've taken ideas from several Swoops. Lovin' the dino mode tho, his huuuuuge wingspan just doesn't come across in pics.

Cheers, can't take all the credit as I've borrowed heavily from others but I'm happy as I highly doubt we'll ever see some of these figs as MP's.

 

Really nice Swoop - yeah I agree, it would be pretty unlikely to ever get this as MP, especially at the rate Takara has produced MPs so far! Even if they are shifting up to 2 molds a year I can't see it. Nice work again!
