That is a superb collection. The Jazz & Soundwave alone are to die for! Nearly dropped my beer when I saw Jazz - thought that an MP Jazz had been made but not released. Seriously, nice work fella.

    Cheers mate, praise indeed!

Mirage and Cliffjumper are in the final stages....Cliffy should be done today....Mirage tomorrow at a push....as much as the finished article is transformed (forgive the pun) with decals I just bloody hate applying them!

Excuse the shitty Xperia Play camera but Cliffjumper is now done:

Mirage should be done in the next few days, just need to paint a few details and get the decals on.

Cliff jumper looks amazing. Glad that you will be respraying that Shockwave, it's practically radioactive!

lol cheers. Shockwave will be getting a little more than a respray! New MP hand and new thicker fully articulated legs for starters! Considering trying to give him a bit more shoulder movement but he's not as bad as some other G1 figures *cough* Soundwave *cough* so that may stay the same. A little remodelling around the hips/waist is gonna be the main part so he doesn't keep his comedy 'trigger'.....

Believe it or not this is the first time I've ever had a G1 Shockwave of any kind.....even as a majorly spoilt brat in the 80's having more TF's than you could shake a stick at my parents never got me Shockwave! That maybe the reason I see the MP version of him as my holy grail.

Sounds great, totally with you on the legs - its the only thing that lets the G1 figure down. Shockwave is such an iconic figure, the toy was amazing and he has been a favourite ever since starring on the cover of the Marvel comic. Never had him as a kid and finally got one a few years back but had to sell. Finally got a ko one recently which is alright but not the same. Looking forward to seeing what you do with him. Enjoy!

Yeah he's awesome looking, the logic coldness makes him my fave character. Just been working on him for the last 40mins....thought I'd stick a sneak peek up:

Articulated hand easily installed but he looks a little top heavy at the mo due to the standard seeker legs (which aren't attached properly yet, this is just to get an idea) but when it's bulked up and has his original sides on with styrene it should look spot on.

I'm like a kid in a candy shop at the mo, MP Shockwave? Yes fucking please!

I'm trying to ignore that orange   Hopefully by Monday he'll be a nice matt plum colour with brand new legs.

Cheers man! Jazz was one of my fave's too (and still is).....but since then Mirage has risen :ev:

    Thanks again man, much appreciated!

Thanks man but my customs pale when compared to some in Radicons. That sub forum gave me the inspiration and I started with simple touch ups of Alternators that grew into full repaints that grew into cutting figures up the braver and more confident I got! Plus it dawned on me a while back that if I ever wanted to complete my collection I'd have to take the bull by the horns as waiting for HasTak (or third parties for that matter) to make some of the figures I wanted would be years.

So just finished installing some Dioder's from Ikea and I think they work pretty well! I do need to look at tidying the cable up a bit more tho....the amount you get is insane.....

Brawn, Ironhide & Ratchet have gone. I've pre-ordered iGears Brawn.....waiting to preorder their Gears too. MP Shockwave is nearing completion....you might be able to just make him out....also half way through decaling MP Mirage.....who you might be able to pick out too...and let me tell you....those decals are a bastard to do. May be because of their age but man they are fragile.

Loving the set up you've got - looks fantastic. Shockwave is looking good (at least sunglasses aren't required to view him now lol!) Awesome.
Thinking of ordering igears Brawn myself, haven't checked out the shipping on the pre-order yet, is it reasonable for UK delivery? Have been holding off getting their minibots as that means getting the set....but Brawn & Gears look so good it would be rude not to!

Cheers man! Shipping is free if you order direct from iGear :thumb

They do look awesome I'm just hoping they announce Windcharger and upsize Huffer to stand shoulder to shoulder with Brawn.

Free shipping? Nice 1. Cheers! More pain for the wallet then.

Yes I'm with you with Huffer's size but he was always smaller than Brawn as a G1 toy so it doesn't bug me as much. Windcharger would be amazing and an accurately molded Cliffjumper would be the icing on the cake.

Cliffjumper and Bumblebee are being done aswell but going by the van brothers I doubt we'll see them anytime soon. I'm literally hovering over the Huffer order button but I need to see pics of him with CHUG 'bee and Cliff first just to see how much smaller he is.....I guess I could always sell him on if they do eventually upsize him.
