Hey, I hope you don't mind me saying, but that's a refreshingly cool collection; very tastefully themed, all of it!  

I remember having a TF colouring in book as a kid and I vividly remember one page was titled To The Death: looking down at a Seeker in jet mode diving on Sunstreaker in robot mode and I was hooked. Glad to see someone so into the brothers and Seekers!

I should post photos of my collection, though it's a little plain compared to yours.

Thank you! You can see why I want a BIG Sideswipe though as the Lambos are the main focus of my collection. But Yes, Sideswipe will look good on my shelf and I'm hoping the fact that they have the lambo license will make them get Sunstreaker done in a timely fashion.

 

I always understood your want for a big Sideswipe figure, but we won't go into that. To give you ideas though, and if you can find one, I THINK there are 1/18 scale Lamborghini Countach models our there. Now THAT would be a BIG FREAGGIN SIDESWIPE!!!

 

I've seen the 1:18 scale ones. He's gonna cost a pretty penny to do so I figure after I get the other customs I want done I will save the BIG Sideswipe and Sunstreaker for last. I know they're not going to be done cheap and I don't want to cheap out either! I will spare no expense!

 

Make sure you post devoted threads to those when you have them done then, because i know I'll wanna see them!

 

I will. I already have a 1:24 scale Sunstreaker (he's about 9 inches tall in bot mode) I'll be getting in November or sooner if I get the money together faster. I'll see if those are going to be good enough for me or if I will need to up it to the 1:18.

 

Is the 1:24 one a pretty good likeness?? If it is, I'd stick with it.

 

You've seen the Sunstreaker that Tigerblade did, right? I'm buying his Sunstreaker soon as I got the cash and it's a really good likeness. I fell in love with that Sunny that moment I saw it lol.

Yea, I've seen it. Thought you might be talking about his. While it's a great likeness, I think it can be done better.. Truer to the character (not at all saying his is bad). With a collection like yours, were it focuses on a couple of characters, I would want perfection, and ask if he would be willing to do another build that's closer to the figure or toy. Again, there isn't a single thing wrong with his build. It just isn't 100% accurate.

 

I thought about it when he first asked me if I wanted it or not and to be honest I kinda like that it's not G1 accurate. Picturing it in my head I'm kinda loving the diversity it would add to my collection. I sorta feel like the difference will make things pop more and look really cool.

I am so jelly of your Sideswipe collection   . Those ponies are cool, but I'm just a fan of G4 (G1 ponies just look ugly to me). Now I want a Sideswipe pony too.   Please tell me you got Masterpiece Sideswipe since those pictures were taken.

Yep! I got MP Sideswipe and a custom MP sideswipe that is much bigger. I really need to update my photos, I'll try to get that done ASAP.

 

And now my collection is updated! YAY
