Despite our state-of-the-art water-proofing system, the basement flooded. Stupid city drain backed up. It's a mess. I've got some work to do.

The set-up is cool. It lets people know you're not messing around.

Bummer on the mess, you mentioned.

Thanks. That was the idea. A serious setup that people will take seriously.

    Yeah, thanks :(

    Fantastic collection and well displayed!

Did the detolfs save the figures? I hope they are all ok.

    Thanks!

I wouldn't say saved, but they helped in that they raised them off the ground a bit. Luckily the waterproofing system helped mitigate the amount of sewage, and those cabinets are at the highest point in our uneven, poured-concrete floor. I'm still assessing, but I'm hoping that the worst of it is that some figures on the bottom shelves got wet feet, which I should be able to disinfect without much trouble.

Basement re-construction was finished today. I've got a couple more weeks of cleaning and putting things back together, but thankfully no Transformers were lost. Just an original G1 Japanese FortMax box. The display will be back with a vengeance. Big changes in store.
