My modest display

I've had this case for awhile now but it was always tucked away in the corner used more as storage. That is until recently I moved into a new place and was able to set it up near the living room. Everyone has seen these Detolf shelves by now. Even ones with additional shelves added... but here is my modest display:

Now, I'm sure the attentive readers noticed I say this is my display and not my collection. Surely someone who has been buying Transformer toys for the past 25 years has more! I do... but they get rotated to the case. The rest of my collection is still packed up. I intend to setup another case in a dedicated room once things have settled down from the move.

It feels good to be able to be sitting and playing PS3 and be able to look over and see my 'bots. It's a small pleasure that adds a great deal of worth to my collection.

Thanks. I got that Roadbuster for Christmas. I had been looking for awhile myself and finally found him at one of the stores much closer to Pittsburgh. I have yet to see him at any of my local stores (farther north).

It is an Ikea product. I'm not sure if the model is Detolf or if that's the name brand. But you can check it out here: Ikea Detolf Display Case. I also added 1 shelf using the technique mentioned here. I have 3 more shelves I can add. I just wanted to try it out first and see how I wanted to position the others.
