Finally built my shelves over the last couple of weeks here and there. Im going to use my 80s Joe and TF comics as back drops and paint the GIJOE emblem on the base thats holding the Flagg. I think Ill be taking some stuff to my local comic shop to dump, I still have the SDCC Hound and Jetfire and Titan Metroplex to open. I never thought I would say this, but I feel its just too much.
Oh, good god! I tried so hard to get that G.I.JOE Aircraft carrier for Xmas when I was a kid!! Bravo sir. I do think you need to work out a better system to display your figures: ..do you remember those grade school photos where they got all of us on steps or something... something similar might do the trick for those multiples rows of figures.
The shelf Im working on is 4 1/2ft wide by 10ft wide. The base is going to be ocean blue with the Flagg, on the end is going to be a 2ft tall shelf with the TDrome sitting on it. Ill either paint it to look like a cliff or try the old paper mache trick too. The background shelves will hold my TFs and other Joes. Its a work in progress, keep changing my mind on the back shelves.
Man, colour me jealous. I love your collection, and the 1:1 Trailbreaker is just too awesome for words :>! One day I'm going to have a 1:1 Tracks...one day.
updated my collection pics, sold some and added some. pretty much all i plan on getting this coming year is the bbts omega supreme, reissue fort max, and maybe fp menasor. getting back into some other things i havent made time for , redoing my jeep and fishing and hunting and finishing my shelves for all of this stuff you see in the pics so i really need to stick to a list.
added pics of my MASK lot i picked up, had all these once, sold them like an idiot. next update will be with Fort Maxx
