Kiririth, you my friend are the Bob Vila of Transformers dispalys, awesome Ideas and the set up looks great!!

Until I have the time and $$ to get some acrylic risers, a cheap/free method I've used are some styrofoam blocks/bars, that come packed with some of the medical supplies at work and sometimes in furniture boxes. now their not as nice as the acrylic risers, but they work, and can easily be cut to the exact width of bookcase shelves.

ive got three myself and what i did mainly as a preference is display 1 mp per shelf with their closest alternity variation in front example mp megatron with his alternity counterparts in front. and in the 3rd are my fans project figures organized by faction bot/con. i find with these cases especially less is more.ive had my classics crammed n there but now im pleased with how they look. ill be taking pics soon when my insecticons arrive and ill post. gook luck though.

Hey guys, I will one day have glass enclosures buy my tf room is a bonus room. Detloffs do not work in this space. Until I find the right case for my space I'll obviously be playing around and I'll share my finds and builds for those also looking for solutions or toy budget always seems to prevent a shelving budget. :)

Here's a find I made today. The itso shelf, sold at target. They're "12 squared and come in different colors most notably black and white. The cube itself is $9.99 and you can buy shelves that snap into them for $4.95. The cubes also interlock with included connectors. One cube with a shelf in the middle is perfect for classics deluxe height. The depth is wasted but if you use a black one it it looks really cool. The white one is a great place to snap pics. I know it shadows but it's for the speed you can get a clean pic of a figure you can't beat it. :)  I've got a few to start still weighing the give and take of black or white.

I need some advise with regards to displaying my transformers in the Ikea Detolf Display.

Here are some quick shots of how things look now (I haven't received all of my Transformers yet so more will be added when they come in - Also ignore the PS3 game cases etc which are standing in for the Acrylic Risers I am looking into)

I feel as if something is missing. I am looking into getting some Acrylic Risers but just wanted some advise on how to better present things

For those who collect statues and busts, any advice on displaying them? Specifically Hard Hero and Diamond Select Transformers Busts. I have limited space available, so looking for the best use of any possible space.

I don't have any mindblowing ideas about displaying statues other than mine are in my detolf to minimize dust collecting on them. If you really have minimal space you might try to get some acrylic cases to put them in and then stack them. I'm not sure how big those busts are though.

We used to use these at the last Job I had. They are great for projects! I wouldn't mind investing in one of those when I get another job so help secure a few detolfs together if need be. Though I wonder how well the screws would secure to the particle board the detolf pieces are made of after a few times of needing to maybe be removed and replaced...

Plenty of space and good fluorescence lighting. Walmart or Target are good ones for shelves.

I just bought a few of these for my G2 GoBots and RiD Spychangers. I can't recommend them to you guys enough as they look SUPER nice. Think IKEA detolf shelves for your Hot Wheels sized bots, as they have four holes on the back for wall mounting:

That's awesome! :)  I use a box with drawers for my spychangers.
The kind handy men use for various nuts, bolts and screws.

What I really like about the case I posted is that it's intended use is for displaying, whether it's a case that lays flat or is mounted on the wall (which is what I intend to do with mine eventually).

So once the holiday are over I think I want to buy 4 detolf cases. Is there a recommended way to anchor them together?? also, is it possible to user the extra sides that would be unused for the shelves?
