FYI, I had my girlfriend pick up a bunch of these frames for me from the department store where she works part-time, Gordman's. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to find the same thing or something similar where you live. I know Wal-Mart has something similar. Are there Wal-Marts in Amsterdam?
HA! I don't think wal-mart has any location outside of the US. And I pray to the gods to keep it that way.

I picked up some frames today to frame some animation cels and I figured out how to do pressure the comics in place. Looks pretty cool!

A board member, bombatron, does chrome work on the side. I asked him if he would be willing to do the work for me and he was willing to do it for a reasonable price. The chrome isn't as perfect as something you would get from Hasbro or Takara, but it does look great. No worries btw, I didn't destroy the Buster paint job on these guys, I used the non-painted guns from my regular and nemesis Jetwing Primes.

ebay. I did a review of them last night on the 3rd Party Forum. I got them for $18 shipped from gigaproshop. Ordered on April 11th, delivered on April 23rd.
If you want some awesome chrome work done you can always shoot conceptsinchrome.com an email. He does awesome stuff!

That's the same guy. I've used Eddie a few times and he does great work.

Oh sorry! Yeah I really love his chrome. He's done me up a couple of Gears of War Lancers. Those look amazing! And my Black Zarak Replica wouldn't look the same without his gold chrome chest.

I know him, I've have pieces done by him as well . Like you said, not the best there is, but great for the price there is. I've actually gone the chrometechusa.com route for other stuff lately though. rice a tad more, but it's electroplated as opposed to the vacuum metalized that bombatron uses, which I believe is a bit more sturdy.

I'm a week or two late, but I just discovered these little guys at WM and TRU yesterday.

I won't admit how much I had to spend to get the set, since they are blind-packaged in little ball thingys.

Here is some fun with Herc and the Avengers (plus Nick Fury):

And a couple for fun with just the two big green guys:

That's pretty cool, especially since it seems like a fairly accurate scale!

Ok, so I don't have all 1000 displayed, but I am working on it. I currently have 738 displayed, with the other 450 or so that I have in storage, but my plan is to add more display cases until I have everything on display.

Now on to the real post:

I recently added another display case to make my "man-cave" into my TFs room so I thought I would take a few pictures to showcase the room I made for myself.

Main Display Cases:

Another angle:

Brave Max case and G1 and Beast Era case:

Unicron Trilogy, Classics and Movies case:

http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...m/IMG_0746.jpg

I also have a smaller case that I bought years ago that I "customized" for Brave Maximus and Unicron and Primus:

http://i181.photobucket.com/albums/x...m/IMG_0745.jpg

My Unicron and Primus display which does have a spotlight I installed in the ceiling to illuminate them:

Close-up of Brave Max:

My newest addition is a case I had to drive 8 hrs each way to obtain. I went up to IKEA in Minneapolis on New Years Day and bought this case. I was able to move my MPs/BTs/Alts from the main display cases and gave them their own, dedicated case and I rather like the way it turned out.

Doors closed:

Doors opened:

I also purchased a Family Mart ROTF Leader Optimus Prime and added a light-up base and acrylic case for it:

To finish out my TFs room, I decorated the room with some framed TFs comics that I have collected over the years. I never read them and I much prefer the way they look decorating the walls.

G1 Comics:

Dreamwave comics:

by the powers of Greyskull!

you have a nice... no... SUPER-AWESOME-MAXIMUS collection. and to see everything neatly stored and displayed, it makes me so envious.

I hope to have a room like this all to myself one day! but with two kids on tow... it'll take a while.

I love the pictures. Sentinel, thank you for sharing!
