Sports Label!

Ok, I've had these figures awhile now and never bothered to transform them because well, they didn't seem over spectacular. I wasn't expecting much, but these figures are actually quite good. Pleasant surprise!

They definitely shine the most in shoe mode. The paint applications are phenomenal. Everything except the sole of the shoe is painted on in high glossy, brightly colored paint.









Next is robot modes. The transformation is quite simple however, the end result is quite nice. I'm digging the Prime head sculpt. Piece of advice, don't turn these figures around. Their backs are pure kibble.







I found this Chinese Knock-off in Ultra Magnus colors and I couldn't resist. It's very high quality plastic and completes the set nicely. The lack of an Autobot symbol, the number 40 on his chest, and his little baby horns are dead giveaways that this guy is a knock off. Worth adding to your Sports Label collection.

Here are some quick pics I took while home over last Christmas.

First off, Brave Max! I was lucky enough to get him for retail in 200 when he came out. I had to drive about 90 minutes to get to a store that sold him, but I think it was worth my time. I only paid $100 for him MISB.

The sword is a repro God Sword I bought on Ebay last year. The two large guns are made by board member Darkov. He does excellent work.











Repro Labeled Unicron (if you don't have this sticker set, I highly recommend getting it) and Takara 2010 Unicron

Not only is that collection huge. It looks so FUN! I love it!

 

My most recent box from Robotkingdom came loaded with Perfect Effect toys! I love these things. Rumble and Frenzy are by far the weakest, but consider they were PE's first release and seeing how far they have come with Reflector, I can appreciate Rumble and Frenzy for what they are. The pioneers of PE's stuff. On to the toys!

CC in "Ultimate form". I found a nifty way to attach Ninja onto CC's back as well.

Next up! ROTF Amazon.co.jp Excluvise Black Leader Optimus Prime!

This guy is great, pricey, but great. Definitely worth the purchase if you can find him.

 

Fully upgraded (as of 6/11) 2010 CrazyDevy Predaking! He's pricey, but nowadays what third party products aren't?......

Anyway, take a look at the pics and I'm sure you'll agree he's worth it. He makes MP Megs look tiny! When CrazyDevy is done with him (still have hands, a new lion mane, larger arm cannon, and leg extensions) he will be bigger than Unicron.

Jetwing Optimus Ptime combined with Jetfire: Can't take credit for this, I saw it on the "Cool stuff" boards. This thing is huge though! If only I had my Brave Max with me here in Japan for a comparison pic. I would say he is at least 15" tall.
