There is a difference. Masterpiece toys=2000+ old toys=1984 ish (not counting the pre-transformers). Think you should re-read his comment and then you should be able to make an educated comment and not adding or making up things that kinda sorta sound like something he kinda said.
Nice collection! Also, I grew up with G1 and I dont care for the old ones all that much either. New ones are well done. Thanks for the pics!

i just dont like paying money for bricks

I'm glad that you decided to stay out of G1 stuff, or feel that it's necessary because it does nothing for you. (some people get G1 because they for whatever reason feel obligated to have and not because they want/love it)
