Curious - do the TS Source Extra weapons (from the FP-DX Insecticon 3 pack) fit well in the hands of your standard Purple/Black/Yellow FP Insecticons?

Mine just... don't stay in their hands. They're just far too loose, and I haven't had the figure hold anything, since they're not actually 5mm standard sizing.

Yeah, pretty loose, mostly because the pegs aren't cylinders.

Ah, I figured. Although the bladed weapons the originals came with fit great - I don't know why they molded the squared off-type non cylinders for the new gun-weapons.

Man, really making me wish I'd picked up a United WFC Optimus Prime when they were reasonably available. I made the mistake of knowing there'd be a sequel, but assuming it would have an even better Prime mold.

Boy was I wrong.

Heh, I'm actually mid-disassembly of the regular black flames mold G2 Prime, in preparation for a repaint to match the SG Maketoys armor.

Excellent pics - I really like the creative use of the chain. Curious, where'd those pulse-rifle-on-a-3mm-joint come from?
